Its really cool to read about everyone's journeys. There's some really impressive stories here!

I've lost 16 lbs with SP - 23 since January and I'm slightly more than halfway to my goal weight. Exercise has become part of my routine. I'm eating well and mindfully.

While I still use food to deal with my emotions, I'm now doing it in a way that doesn't sabotage what I've accomplished so far and often its combined with walking. In other words, I might go grab a bag of M&M's when I'm feeling stressed but I'll walk to the store to go buy them and then walk while I eat them.The calorie count for the day might be higher and I might not be eating what I should, but its still within the suggested calorie range. I'm thinking that's an improvement.

I'll never be able to completely rid myself of temptation, but at least I'm getting better at dealing with it.

Wow, there are a lot of great accomplishments listed here! Lots of cause for celebration! Way to go!!!

As for me, I didn't take measurements to start with, but I've lost 25 pounds and judging by my belt adjustment I lost about 2-3 inches off my waist. Whereas the sides of my head used to push out against the temples of my glasses I now have a good 1/4 inch between them! Oh, and I discovered something else...ABS! ;-)

If it's going to be it is up to me!

These are some amazing stats, team!! Congrats, everyone!!!

Holley, I like your response.

In 3 months I've lost 31 pounds and lots of inches:
Waist from 45 to 38.5
Hips from 52 to 47 (thanks to those hills and stairs)
Neck from 15 to 14 (everyone notices the neck)

Many of us have hit mini goals and some final goals like Deb (Beachdreams). Congrats!! Woohoo!!

I'm looking forward to the 4-month check-in. I love to read success stories--they inspire and motivate me. Keep 'em comin'!!

ITS BEEN THREE MONTHS!!!!! Time really does fly when you are having fun.
Since joining Spark I have lost 15lbs and 24 total since I start Lifestyle Change. I have change my mind with all this information on Spark and researching other things and change my body by building muscle and really pushing myself. I find that I look forward to finding a way to sneak in MORE workout time.
I love it and I am pleased.

three month check in....wow...
My journey started long before SP infact almost a year, but since starting SP i've lost 22lbs my aim is 28 for 5th July (so i've still got time!) Then i will set a new goal! I've lost 4inches in 3 months, my only problem is i still cant get motivated for excersise i'll go a week without doing any then i'll go cycling 4 times the next week....i always get about 30 mins walking in a day with my job though! And now my skins heading south i really need to buck up my ideas! But im loving the new me! Sp was the kick i needed...

Hi All,

This is my 3 month check in.

I never realized how far I have come.
Sometime the weekly weigh ins comes fast
sometimes slow but I never seem really ready for them or I feel I overate the day before and my true effort doesn't show. Anyway, this past month went really fast and I thought I was moving really slow but the overall picture speaks for itself. The bottom line is, every ounce counts.

Hey diddle diddle I spilled my vittles
The cow jumped over the moon
My little dog laughed to see such fun
And my dish ran away with my spoon

I think that's how it all happened!

I am down almost 14 lbs and a combined total of 19 inches. I now work out 4- 6 times per week and actually feel guilty if I don't. That in itself is a huge change for me. I have dropped one full size and in some things 2 sizes!!

Life is a roller coaster I'm just along for the ride.

I'm sure everyone has there moments...
I've found that the best thing I can do for myself when I feel a snack-attack coming on is to log into SparkPeople and poke around the different message boards and threads... if I'm on here, I'm reminded every second of why I'm making changes - and it helps me make good choices!

First of all--losing 25 pounds is fantastic!! Congratualtions!

I don't know if I'm in a slump--I just got to within two pounds of my goal, and stalled out. Overate on the weekend, after having broken through last week for a day! It's been hard to go that last bit, for some reason. But I believe I'm getting there now.

Great work everyone! It's exciting to see so much progress. I've been slumping for the past month. I'm maintaining my weight loss and increasing my activity but not making as many good choices (especially snack time after dinner). Anyone else slumping and having a hard time getting past it?

It is hard to believe that it has been three months already. I have lost 5lbs - very slow going as I was on a plateau when I joined SP (15lbs since Aug 07) then had a stomach problem to deal with...but I am down 2inches in my waist and my hips and my clothes are falling off!!! YAY emoticon

I have learned that I don't have to eat when I am not hungry - ie. "clean your plate club" and I am now exercising without pain. The biggest surprise and blessing in my life has been the support of my online friends emoticon

Go to "Edit Your Spark Page"

On the lower right side of the screen, there's a box that says, "Profile Image" - under that, there's a link that reads "change this image." Click that link.

That pops up a new upload/gallery page. At the top left of that page, there's a link that says, "Choose from our success gallery." Click that link.

You'll be able to close from the SP milestones available.

Already! Wow time flies while you are having fun working out! ;)

As you can see not too too much has changed in the last month but there is still a downward trend and Im okay with that. Half way through last week I switched up my excercise program with one specifically designed to help me get through these last few pounds so we will see how that goes as the weeks go by!

I do still feel great about how things are going and I know that Im reaching the point of toning and reducing those last trouble spots, I am really seeing definition in my arms and shoulders and even in my legs now too, its been years since I felt really great in a pair of shorts!

In three months I have lost almost 30 pounds with SP!!! I can't believe it, almost. I'm not starving myself, or miserable or anything. It really IS the new habits that I've acquired.

I lost 20 pounds last year without SP, and promptly gained 10 back. With SP, I just know that this additional 30 will never come back!

So, the next question is, where do I get those cool "I lost 30 pounds with SP" pix I see attached to some folks' messages? I sure would like to attach it to mine!

Wow has it really been 3 months already? And I have only lost 10 pounds. Well it's better than none and way better than gaining 10 pounds. I will get rid of all this extra baggage some day. The important thing is that I have achieved 2 awesome goals: I can fit into my clothes without being scared they are going to burst at the seams, and I walked a minimarathon. I am becoming much more active. I am more aware of what I am eating. And I am looking forward to living a lot more actively.

I have turned over so many new leaves that it sometimes amazes me. I'm so not the person I was when this started.

I'm eating way better and much more active... and I feel so much better.

lost 17 pounds weight but gained some muscle so probably lost more than 17 pounds of fat. I've cut out sodas and most of the salty and sugary food from my diet (I still have the occasional chocolate bar but now I get the small ones rather than the king sized family blocks)

What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?

I am so glad to have this thread because it really made me look back and take credit for what i've done (which has been hard for me) and make myself see that yes, I am smaller and yes, i have achieved my first goal and very close to my second goal! So thank you for having this thread!

My stats are: I have lost 13lbs and 9.5 total inches!!

My mother-in law comes to vist in 2 weeks and that will be the true test b/c i haven't seen her since christmas, so she 'should' notice the weight loss.

I am also looking forward to the 4 month check-in!

3 months - Wow! When I joined I never really expected to be here this long...

I've lost 16 lbs and gained an amazing new SP family! I've learned that one bad choice does not mean I have to wait till Monday to start over, or even tomorrow; "denial" is bad - "moderation" is good; exercise is NOT torture; vegetables are NOT poison; and I am worth the time it takes to live a healthy lifestyle!

Thanks to everyone for their awesome support and I look forward to the "4 Month Check-In"!! (And the Team Leaders are doing a great job!)

Good morning all. I have lost 6 pounds so far. I am learning that not all food is bad, and to cut off snacking a couple of hours before bedtime, and to stop eating when full.

Happy Three-Month Anniversary Week!! What changes have you made? What new habits have you formed? How are you progressing toward your goals? Share your progress, and share the fun! emoticon

I've lost 13.4 pounds, and just made it through my first plateau. I am eating very differently--WAY more fruits and veggies, fewer empty carbs, more whole grains. I'm doing strength training from my heart, and upped the intensity of my cardio.
And I've met wonderful people who have amazed, inspired and touched me.
