Just for the experience, I'll move on to stage 3 when the time comes. From what I understand, we'll be continuing the habits we've learned in stages 1 and 2. I know it's difficult to change from our comfortable positions but learning how to 1) keep motivated, 2) overcoming setbacks and 3) dealing with our emotions should be a welcoming challenge.

Then again, each person is different, and we all know when we are ready to move on. What's important is we continue to practice healthy living, one day at a time.

Healthy choices to each of you!!!

I'm going to be staying in stage 2 for a while longer yet, so when I get that email, I don't think that I'll do anything about it. I haven't gotten any emails from sparkpeople in over a week though!

Thanks for all your replies. I've decided to stick to stage 2 for a couple more weeks. We're having a long weekend away at the end of April, if I manage that without goofing up then I know I'm ready to move on. I do great during the week but still struggle through the weekends, so I want to get it all under control first.

Good luck to all of those who have or will be moving into stage 3. Let us know how you're doing with it.

If you don't feel ready, don't move. Those suggestions are just that. Suggestions. I stayed in Phase 2 for quite a while and actually am thinking of returning to Phase 1 again. I don't really feel that ready to move on yet.

I haven't gotten that e-mail, I am still at week 5 on stage 2, so I'll probably receive it in a couple of weeks. I'll probably move on then.. I am ready.

I feel like I still have more to learn. I need to get comfortable with making choices when eating out.
Right now I have to think to hard to make the right choices and it doesn't come naturally or second nature. I also need to learn some new exercises that I'd like to do. I hate to exercise although I've learned to like to walk again. Plus, I need to follow my husband's diet and show him how he isn't getting his nutrients. That's my next challenge for right now.

Besides, I don't know if some of my supports, like tracking, are taken away from me.

I got the email this morning too. I hesitated but then realized I've been making that a habit recently and decided I'm ready to make some new habits instead. I'm going for it!

I've just moved on today, I felt that since I had regularly logged my food and exercise and I seem to have my ballance right since I'm consistently losing weight that I was ready to go on.

G'day all,

I received an email from SP suggesting I move on to stage 3. So I had a little read and it all sounds good, but I don't know if I'm ready to (mentally) make the move from diet to lifestyle change.

Anyone moved on to stage 3 yet and how are you doing with it?
