Hmm...side effects may include: feelings of EXTREME giddiness, more energy, def more mirror hogging, looser clothing (or in my case clothes that actually fit, yea learned that skin tight does NOT equal fitting!), random bouts of smiling, or feeling more confident. If you've experienced ALL of the above then dammit you're on your way to your goal! lol
Ok, but seriously I know whenever I first start a diet I'll also get headaches - from what I've read it's similar to withdrawal b/c you're ridding your body of what it's used to getting - in my case salty, greasy, fatty foods. And peeing more is probably simply b/c you've added more water to your diet and your body is just flushing everything out. I agree w/everyone else if most of your symptoms don't go away soon then you might wanna call the doc. So hope you feel better and congrats on your weight loss! (oh and hope you're also experiencing some of the other "side effects" I mentioned lol)

Getting fine in '09!

I've had side effects but not many bad ones thank goodness. Usually it was a little bit of nausea (when I'd eaten something I was no longer used to) or some weakness and fatigue (if I didn't eat enough or didn't have enough water). I agree with everyone advising you to see your doctor if the situation does not improve!

Uggh! I hadn't thought of that. I'm hoping it's just my body adjusting to the new lifestyle.

Thank you for all your feedback.

I have side-effects, but I do not recognise yours, Ofedeoz. Are you eating enough? Or maybe pregnant, like suggested. And perhaps you can't stop peeing because you drink more water since you're on a diet? Your body needs time to adjust itself.

(my side effects are 'being cold all the time' lol)

I agree, sounds a bit like pregnancy smptoms to me. I personally haven't had any side effects except loose clothing

Ummm.... could you possibly be pregnant? That's how I felt each time in early pregnancy. Just a thought and I may be way off base. But I would definitely get a checkup.

If it continues I would go get a checkup. Maybe you're allergic to something your eating?

Hi OFEDEOZ,

The other day my son bought the wrong milk, whole milk that is. So while I tried to cut back on the milk, I started getting a headache (I never get headaches) and it seemed I wasn't getting enough nutrients. I generally felt strange and weak. Staying up past my bedtime didn't help either.

Today I felt a lot better but I still had to get up at four for breakfast and ate breakfast again around 10:30 AM. I finally got back on track and within my calorie range but it's 1:40 AM and I'm hungry so I should go to sleep. I think balance is really important.

G'day, just wanted to check if anyone else is having "side effects" to losing weight. I've lost 4.5kg (around 10 pounds) over 4 weeks, so I don't think it's too fast, but my body is giving me all sorts of strange feelings. Sometimes I feel nauseous (eating sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't), WILD mood swings, headaches and I can't stop peeing (sorry, bit graphic).

Is anyone else having trouble like this or have I got something else going on? emoticon
