Great job on turning to your spark family for encouragement and motivation. 1 donut doesn't mean you failed, its how you learn from eating that 1 donut that matters, and hopefully next time you will grab some celery or carot sticks or whatever healthy snacks you like instead. What a great job to turn around and do what's good for you. It's just a donut and a stupid donut shouldn't make you feel you failed ;) and the exercise is more important than just a donut. Way to go!

All I can say is WOW! I know I made the right decision by joining SP emoticon
I'm so surprised by the encouragement and positive feedback I've received. I'm humbled by the fact that so many of you are taking the time to reply to my message and offer words of encouragement! Thank you so much for that - and after reading these comments how could I let ya'll down??!!
I got home and exercised on my Gazelle and I made sure to drink more water to compensate for my boo-boo. I'll make sure to come back again whenever I have another "special moment" (and believe me it will happen b/c that time of the month hasn't even come yet! lol)Again thanks for being there and I'll be here to return the favor anytime :)

Hang in there and don't think because you 'slipped' up and ate a donut that you are back to the beginning.
As far as how to handle not eating the donut when you are stressed..get rid of the krispy kremes and get some celery there to munch on emoticon

P.S.S. When i relapsed w/ alcohol i had to change my sobriety date but it didn't take away the years i was sober!!!I still had those from b4!!!! emoticon

P.s. One donut did not undo 4 days of dieting...DON'T let it!!! Just bcuz u ate that doesn't mean u have 2 blow the whole day off!!!...I'm notorious for this....well, i ate a donut i might as well just start again tomorrow or monday or....not exercise bcuz i blew my diet....that's what has KEPT me fat....Change the way u think NOT just eat!!! emoticon

You did the right thing reaching out!!! GREAT JOB!!!! Can you walk around?? Bring ur own snacks, call somebody,talk about it open & honestly!! U no we have gotten 2 b a country w/ a weight problem...i GUARANTEE there are others that r dealing w/ their own!!!Let's get the stigma OFF of diet & exercise & move into a generation of healthy!!!

Ok so I'm day 4 into my "bringing sexy back" plan lol and I let the stresses of today get to me. I ventured off big time and had a donut. And not just any donut, I had a Krispy Kreme chocolate glazed donut. I had been doing so good before today!
So right now I just need a little bit of encouragement, b/c it's only noon here and the day has just gotten started. I'm trying so hard not to turn to food when I get upset, but that's difficult especially at work. Anyway if ya'll would let me know what alternative methods you use to deal with stress or what you normally do when you have a (let's call it) "special moment" I would appreciate it. Because it's gonna be a loooong day.....
