I just started a new job so I've been getting used to that. I do plan on getting back on track hopefully next week when the kids go back to school and we get into a routine.

I have an adventure race on Sept. 13th that is keeping me busy. This summer has been busy with a triathlon, 5Ks and other fitness milestones. I need to get back on track with my eating as that's where my downfall is and I know it. Once my adventure race is over and the days start to get cooler, I will scale back my obscene amount of exercise and focus more on eating right and losing the weight.
Glad to see so many still working toward their goals!

I've been making very slow progress with dropping the weight, but I have improved the number of servings of fruits & vegetables I eat. I have had trouble resisting the ice cream this summer. I'm improving on the serving size, but when it is hot, I want ice cream everyday.
Next summer is my 25th class reunion & my goal is to reach my goal weight by then.

My milestone was supposed to be my 10 yr anniversary, which is Sept 11. Unfortunately, I have been stuck on some type of awful plateau for the longest time. Now, I am contemplating just trying to start all over again. I need some sort of change and fast.

I have about.......3.5 pounds to go until i get to 120 pounds which was my goal for the end of summer......

So far I've just been trying to eat healthier and watch my junk food intake because i've been too busy to really exercise :( which isn't good!! tsk tsk....

but i'm glad everyone else is doing great! and glad to hear that people are still around!!!!!

I joined TOPS a few weeks ago, but it has just been to hot in the meeting hall to stay. Knowing that I have to way in every week keeps me from gaining because I was out of control, gaining a little every week before I joined. As soon as the humidity breaks I will stay for the meeting and get more involved so I can lose some of this weight. emoticon

Stay on track and don't give up. When you are hungry, remember why you are doing this. WRITE ALL MEALS DOWN EVERY MEAL, EVERY DAY!!

I seem to go from 1 plateau to another. I do have some major events coming up that I would like to lose weight for, but mostly for the health of my joints. My first is a 1/2 marathon Nov 1st, I have been on a training plan, but with the increased running have yet to see a drop in weight. I would love to be at goal by April when I run my first marathon. Running puts 4 times your weight on your legs for every foot fall. I'm hoping with the sheer amount of running I have in the next 8 months I will be at goal. (I have 4 1/2 marathons and several 5Ks and 10Ks before the full marathon) I will say I am in the best shape of my life and have noticed my heart strengthening (I can run hard and not go over my max heart rate where I use to go over by 20 bmp) and my legs are starting to really thin out. Now if I could just get the belly and hips to go!

My wedding is September 12. I wanted to be at my weight goal by then but the weight has been dropping slowly. I'm okay with it, as long as I'm healthy (and I am!)

I've been taking advantage of the early sunrise to get to the gym earlier and work out longer. I haven't done a weigh-in/caliper test with my trainer since May, so I won't know what "the plan" is going to be until I see the numbers. I'm hoping for good news.

Dogs have companions, cats have staff, and ferrets have playmates.
