I signed up way back in January 2008 but there is so much here that it was a little more time consuming to get familiar with the site than I had back then.

I didn't actually start using sparkpeople until May 1, 2009.

I sure wish I hadn't waited so long to start exploring all the great resources here!!

This place is awesome and full of great people!!

I am still here...I haven't lost anymore weight...I am trying to re-regulate with the new exercise and my new schedule...eating less/eating more. It is tought to get it all going the right way. At least I haven't gained any!

I'm still here, and I think I've finally gotten myself back on track. This week I have met my goal of staying within my calorie range; weekends are always tough, but I know I can do it.
My weigh-in day is on Mondays, and come this Monday I believe I will have lost a lb or two!

I just came back after a very long absence. Up until November I was pretty active but then I broke my ankle and had to have surgery to repair it. Then I was planning my wedding. Between both of those I really wasn't online at all. I'm starting back up from step one. I did manage to lose about 10 pounds since I was last on here. That's even without any exercise. I still can't really do much because of my ankle but I'm trying to slowly get back into exercising.

I'm still active, doing really well. Even when I'm not tracking for a week, I'm still managing to be much better about diet and exercise, which is huge for me.

I'm still here! I've started getting a lot more active and as a result I've been so hungry! emoticon
So for the past couple of weeks I've been trying to find that balance where I have enough food to keep me going but not so much food that I gain weight. UGH! It's a never ending balancing act.
But on a positive note, I'm taking up mountain bicycling. I've dabbled in it in the past but swore it off before giving it a fair shake. My boyfriend loves to bicycle so it's a huge help to have someone there cheering me on. emoticon
Oh... and welcome back to those returning members! I did the same thing in January - now you can't get me to stop Sparking!

Not exactly still here, more like I`m back!!

Still receive the mailers, and the one in regards to the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Boot camp brought me back.

My weight is basically the same as when I joined last year, but my activity has dropped significantly, and I am not liking the jiggly bits too much. Time to get back to serious - about weight and fitness!

It doesn't have to be done perfect, it just has to be done.

emoticon I am still here and working hard.

I have lost 26 lbs since Jan/09 and lost over 12" overall. I am feeling great and much healthier.

I have started running and have just completed my first 2- 5k's and really enjoy them.

On Mother's Day I will be walking a 1/2 marathon...this is the best gift I can give myself.

still here...went back up in weight, but got injured and didn't cut back on my calories when I cut running. I'm running again, but slowly adding calories back in as I'm not fully healed.

Hi Everyone,
I joined SP in Jan 08, but I never did anything with this site until last week. So in a way, I'm new to this group. I lost alot of weigh last year, but my motivation is waning and I still have lots to go. So I thought I'd finally check this out.
How much weight has everyone lost since last year?

I'm still here!!!!! I've been working a bit harder these last few weeks and even though my weight is staying stagnant... I am slimming down!!!!! :D I guess my body is toning :) I've also picked up running :) although it's more like jogging/walking lol but it's true..the more you do it.. the easier it gets and the more enjoyable it is!!!! I hope by the end of aug I'll be able to jog 30 min without stopping for a breather! :D

Hi everyone. Wow 15 months since we joined Spark People and we are still here! I hope you are enjoying good weather and being active.

I am doing the Couch to 5K training daily with Kali and maintaining my weight. I didn`t think running was for me - too heavy, too old to run but surprisingly it gets easier and easier to do. I am also going to the gym and water aerobics. I got water aerobics gloves to increase the workout on my arms.

In April I went shopping for smaller jeans and was happy to donate my too big jeans. 3 months till I will be shopping again, so maybe I can lose another size by then LOL.

Please give us an update on how you are doing. Have fun and have a great month!
