When I am shopping I go to Safeway and have a bowl of the soup they have in the deli area. It's quick and fewer calories than going to a cafe.

My challenge is that I want foods that don't fit within my calorie range. I was well on my way to a perfect eating day yesterday until dinner; I hit my nurtrient ranges, and was well within my calorie range for the day. Then the challenge. DH and I were out running errands, we were both hungry, but instead of going home to have a balanced dinner, we went to a Mexican restaurant. I COULD have gone home, DH wouldn't have complained. But Mexican sounded better. So, after a couple of margaritas, chips & salsa, and enchiladas rancheros, I practically had my calorie limit in ONE MEAL.

Last year I had the willpower to make the decision to go home and eat "right", and I lost 25 lbs in 6 months. But I think I burned myself out by staying so strict, and since then I just haven't had the drive to make lower calorie choices. As a result I have come full circle, and weigh exactly what I weighed this time last year.

Whew! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I'm done with my pity-party now, LOL.

I am challenged with getting my exercise done earlier in the day so today I did up a daily schedule. I also thought about what my obstacles are so I don't find excuses.

emoticon FVHORVATH! My biggest challenge is my portion control. That has been a tough one for me. Plus with Easter coming, there will be candy around. I bought single candies for the kids and just a couple of bags of stuff so there won't be any extra candy sitting around the house. The last time I successfully did a weight loss program, Easter ruined it for me and I never got back on track.

My biggest challenge is losing anything! With my DH being on dialysis and having to eat a special diet there are so many things he can't have but likes that I avoid fixing them for me. Most are veggies that are very high in Potassium like spinach, beans and most green veggies. Alot of fruit fall into that group also.

On top of all that I am trying to quit smoking and not gain any weight! After 40 years of smoking it's not easy! But I am really giving it my best. This past weekend I cut my smoking in half and yesterday I only smoked 4 and this is after smoking over a pack a day for all those years. I really think this time I will make it!

I have a HRM, but not the BodyBugg, I thought it needed a monthly service on top of the product itself?

I keep losing and regaining the same 5 pounds. I know part of it is my eating, I've been totally out of control lately.

I'm having trouble keeping the two pounds that I keep losing and regaining!!!!! I know it's my diet... I eat more..then I eat less.. I thought that was suppose to help me keep it unstable so that I would be able to see some results.. blaH I'm going to try and go to the gym more.. I'm starting to get back my motivation and determination...

I've also thought about buying a GoWearFit (bodybugg) to calculate the amount of calories i'm burning in a day..... I've been reading other message boards about this product and most reviews have been good.... So I might splurge and spend that 250 dollars and get it...... but its a big purchase!!! what do you guys thinks??

Sometimes you have to give a kick start. First eat at your low end of your calories for 1 week and the days that you exercise eat at the mid range. Increase your water and watch you sodium. Need anymore help I'm here.

I know we all have issues from time to time. Let's have a thread to discuss it. I would appreciate input from you, and if you ask I will tell you what I think about your concerns.

I am frustrated with my weight loss. My weight hasn't changed much in the last year. I continue to exercise and diet, but I am maintaining my weight. I would like to get it moving again and maybe my thinking is stuck and I just keep doing the same things. What would you suggest?
