I'm here too. But the last 4 weeks haven't been too kind to me. I've hit a plateau. I'm staying within calorie range. Working out 5 days a week. And not losing anything... So hopefully this ends soon. I need to get this last 12 or 13 lbs off by April 6.

1. Get back into my previous weight loss jeans.

2. Meet my fiber requirements 5 days a week.

Now that I am finally exercising for the first time in 23 years I have decided to set these weekly exercise goals.

1. Walk or go to the gym 3 - 4 days a week.
2. Strength training 2 - 3 times a week

Stay on track and don't give up. When you are hungry, remember why you are doing this. WRITE ALL MEALS DOWN EVERY MEAL, EVERY DAY!!

I'm still here. I was more active last year than I had been for many years. That was the good thing. So I guess year two, drop the weight. Better get busy emoticon

Im still here. Had to restart tho. I found out i was pregnant shortly after joining last year. I gained 24 lbs while pregnant. (my daughter was born 12/13) Before getting clearence from my dr i lost 16, and since getting the okay to diet and work out i have lost another 16. Am hoping to lose another 33lbs by June 27th for my best friends wedding that im in.

I'm still here. Trying to get the weight off that I gained from Oct - Dec. Hopefully I'll get a total of 65 gone by my vacation June 19.

Still here and becoming even more active. I finally decided that I would start tracking my food - DH joined to be able to track his food, cardio and stregnth training. I plan to just look at my actual eating habits here for the first few weeks of tracking and then will make adjustments. Then I plan to start losing consistently.

I am still around. I have not been as active as I had been since mid-July when my DH was taken to the hospital with what we thought was a heartattack but found out he did have a mild heart attack but the real problem was that he had near total kidney failure. Since then we had had to change our life style in so many ways.

I work full time plus as much overtime as I can due to the mounting medical bills. Between work, dialysis, DR. appointments, hostital visits and surgerys there is not much time to post. But I so read my E-mails daily and try to get to read some articules here on SP when I can. Ithink about all of us every day and the struggle we all deal with in this weight loss journey.

I have gain a few pounds back but am trying to get back to the basics that we learned early on. My goal this month was to start eating breakfast again and so far I have done that. Next month I am adding eating more veggies and fruit.

I am glad to know this many of us are hanging in there! We will reach our goals! Just some of us may be a bit slower.

Good luck to all who have remained and know that we can do this!

Just thought of something that seems to have helped with snacking after supper. Our family room is where we spend time in the evening. In January I rearranged it and now when I am sitting there I can't see into the kitchen and coincidentally I am not snacking. I have gone to bed a couple of times this week where I knew I was hungry not just craving food.

I'm still here and slowly but surely I will reach my ultimate goal. I just started exercising on a daily basis again (instead of sporadically) and it feels so good.

I am still here and just recently seemed to have got back on the train. 2008 was good. 31.5 pounds lost. I have started using Bally's swimming pool and I am tracking my foods. Hopefully I will see my goal realized this year but if I don't no problem I'll just keep sparking!

It seems like I am on a week, off a week, and who knows why I have done that. I want to move that scale so am getting pretty serious. I still walk 90 minutes a day. It has been darn cold here in MN, but have only missed a couple of days. I am tracking again and will see what happens.

I am still here and trying to keep at it. I was fairly happy with the success I had last year once I really got serious. Then I was happy to maintain during the holidays, and now here I am trying to really get back on track again. My 10 year wedding anniversary is in September and I would really like to have reached my goal by then.
I think my biggest hurdle is not having anyone to be accountable to. I can set daily/weekly/monthly goals, but since I really do not have anyone that I share them with, I have no one to be accountable to. If nobody knows that I said I wouldn't eat chips, then nobody will know that me eating these chips is not a good thing. Do you see what I mean????
Well.... Here's to hoping that we all find success in the days, weeks and months ahead!

Last year I was proud of myself because I ended the year with a weight lost. I gained weight in Jan. of this year, not sure if it was because I was exercising more and I felt I was hungry more. Hi Team. We did it, stayed with SP and we are working on the second year! I am sure we have all learned a lot, and made changes in our lives to improve our health. The other day I saw a SP page of someone who joined SP in 2005. Wow, we didn't even know it existed then LOL.

I felt a boost starting a fresh year and feeling some momentum from 2008. In January my goal was to get back into a routine and I did it. When I got hungry between meals I drank V8 juice, which helped me get my appetite down. My YMCA added some new equipment and put it on the main floor (not the basement). I really enjoy the new circuit and cardio equipment and the brighter gym area.

In Jan. I lost 4 pounds and 1.5 inches. This month I want would love to achieve my January goal to be 199 by Valentines but I seem to be running out of time LOL.

My theme this month is having more fun. Last month I accomplished my goal of 900 minutes of cardio. This month my goal is 1,000. Yesterday I did a line dancing lesson, hiked with my dog, and played bridge.

Tip - if you aren't logging your food, I would suggest you consider it. There is a great tutorial for the Nutrition Tracker.
