I want to spend quiet time every day with meditation and prayer. walk x/week, go to yoga 1-2 times/week and concentrate on my own mental and emotional health.

I want to get down to at least 135 by the end of the year. I was hoping for the summer, but I need to be realistic. I need to really work on my nutrition. I want to re-train my tastebuds to love healthy foods. I feel much better when I have natural foods in my system. Good luck, team, on your goals!

I plan to lose 25 pounds and then head for Door County for a nice vacation. I want to increase my 'steps' on the elliptical. (Not as easy as it might be as I'm minus a lung!

If it is to be, it's up to me.

This year I will work towards losing 25kg and toning my body. I want to get into a size 12 by the end of 2009. I will do it by tracking my food, doing regular exercise, eating less processed food and learning alternative ways to cope my emotions.

2011 is the year! I enjoy being trim, fit, healthy and bursting with energy! :)

I dont normally set new year resolutions for myself but I may this year. I will just more so continue what I had already planned but just reassert myself.

I have set a goal to get down to 140. I hope to do that and maintain my weight. I am so grateful I found SP this year as I am down 40 pounds. It is a great thing to feel so healthy plus get the compliments from others plus wear size 8 and 10 clothing again! (Actually I don't even remember wearing size 8 ever or its been so long).

To Kaliswalker, Good Luck with your exercising program. I lost about 17 pounds last year from Jan 1st. until now. I feel so much better this Christmas then I did last year. I want to continue losing weight this year. It is so nice knowing that for once I didn't waste the year, I lost something. I'm not one to exercise, but I do like to do house work, yard work and dance. I guess every little bit helps. emoticon To the New Year!! I just noticed we weigh the same 208. Let's see how we do next year. Good Luck to you.

Do you make new years resolutions? What resolutions are you making for the new year?

I always look forward to a new year, new beginnings and new commitment. This year I want to go down one size to 14, lose at least 20 pounds, get a job, and set realistic monthly goals to do this. Oh yes, one more - I want to earn enough SP points from exercising, so each month I can send a goodie to each person here who answers active.
