There are a few things that I am proud of.

- I have stuck with sparkpeople during a difficult time in my life.

_ I have made healthy/wiser decisions about food

- Although I have not lost alot of weight, I have not gained back any pounds.

- I still log into sparkpeople, on a semi regular basis.

- When I get discouraged, I have people to turn to for support.

- My children (boys) are extremely respectful and well behaved.

What have you done today to make you feel proud ???

Goal #1- out of the 180's

Goal # 2- 175

Goal # 3- 170

Goal #4- 165

Goal # 5 - TBD

Reward #1= small order of chilli cheese fries.

Reward#2= mani-pedi

Reward # 3= new workout clothes

Reward # 4= new bellyring

Reward# 5= ??????

At this point, it's been 8 months since I joined SparkPeople. I took a major break from late Feb to May and got back on track at the end of May. I'm proud that I've changed my diet. I eat food with better nutritional value. I drink more water than I ever have before! And now I'm 6 runs away from completing C25K. I'm most proud of that because I never thought I could be a runner EVER! My stamina has increased exponentially and I can run for longer distances. I'm so happy about that! emoticon

I am proud that I have lost 40 lbs since Oct. I did not join Sparks until Jan and I was doing great, but lately I have not been doing so good. I need to get into some new challenges to get my motivation back. I still walk every day and try to exercise on a regular basis, but I need to push myself a little harder instead of just getting by. I want to lose at least 20 more pounds if possible.

Dear Lord

I take 12 units less of insulin and have lost 8 pounds. The lesser amt of insulin is a great bonus! I also have more strength.

If it is to be, it's up to me.

Wow, you guys are doing awesome!!

I'm proud of how active I am. I haven't really lost a lot of weight, and fell off track a couple of months ago, but the last 8 weeks I've been kickin some booty!

I can say with earnest that I am proud that no matter how tongue tied that I get on this computer, I can speak about my pit falls and achievements to listeners that go through the same or similar things and understand. To be able to share, sometimes is good. I can Woo Hoo when things are good and I can grumble when they are not. To know that I can get through and to move forward, if I go off track. To be able to listen to everyone else that is going through this, to pick up tips and support, this is just great. I am proud of all of us.

I am very proud that I have learned to curb and nearly bannish emotional eating!! I am healthier than I was 6 months ago. I also have built really good relationships with Spark People who keep me on track.

I'm proud of the fact that I've stuck with Sparkpeople. I'm not proud of the fact that I've lost very little weight, but I'm not giving up.

I'm proud that I have allowed myself to have "fun" while I exercise instead of looking at it as a chore or something I have to do...it's something I "get" to do!

I'm proud that I have had the willpower to NOT eat the candy, ice cream and cookies that my dh keeps offering me...grrrr!!! LOL!

I'm proud that I no longer feel guilty for taking time to exercise.

I'm mostly proud that my kids (21, 18, 14, 12) usually join me when I exercise...they're sparking the habit of exercise with me!!

Congrats to all of you that are sticking with this and on your way to a better, healthier life!!

i think i am most proud of the fact that this time i am NOT on a diet, it is a lifestyle of healthy eating and movement.

i can participate in dining out, bbqs, etc, without feeling that i can't eat, i just make better choices and really enjoy.

i watch my toddler aged grandchildren and see how they eat and mimic it... amazing how it works!!

I can do all things in Him who strengthens me.

As the rest of you said, I'm very proud of still being here and staying on course - usually I fall apart after 2 weeks, so 6 months is totally cool. I'm also very proud that I've lost 53 pounds, but the absolute greatest thing I'm proud of is this: at nearly 290lbs and 46 years old, I can jog! Not long, not far, and I'm sure it's not pretty but I can do it! And that's the best feeling in the world!

I'm most proud of the fact that although I have not lost a ton of weight, I have stuck with it and am still maintaining a healthier lifestyle - working out 4 to 5 days a week, making healthier choices when it comes to the food that I eat and drinking LOTS of water on a consistant basis.

I am proud of the fact that I have lost 40 lbs. And that all of my clothes are baggy. I'm also proud that my children are well rounded & well behaved. They are teenagers. But they are good kids. They are both active is school activities. They're not interested in drugs or getting into trouble.

Mindful eating and pounds lost is what I am most proud of. Totally agree that alcohol is a real obstacle in keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Butterfly, you are doing great, awesome weight loss! emoticon

What I am most proud of is sticking with something this long...usually I fall off and get lost after about a month or two. Even though I can do better and I lose my motivation sometimes I have stayed the coarse and I am proud of myself for that!

Today marks my sixth month on sparkpeople! What a change.....

I am most proud of not having any alcohol since joining. Alcohol has always derailed past efforts and I am so happy to have beat that demon. The result is more energy (especially in the morning) and continued weight loss!!!

What have you accomplished/changed/overcome that makes you proud in the last sixth months?
