It is hard to keep motivated. I decided this a.m. that at this point I am maintaining rather than pushing to loose those last few pounds, so I am going back to recording all my food and excercise again to see where I am going wrong.

Every day is a chance to make a new start.

Welcome back. I know who easy it is to get out of the routine. With summer here and being outside it is easy to let things slide here and there and then all of sudden a whole week has passed.

emoticon back! You've taken the most important first step - that's comign back. Congrats!

I suggest three things for all of you who are starting over:

1) Go back to rhw Fast Break stage and start your program again. make a committment to yourself to actually read and FOLLOW all of the steps. If you need to know how to reset your program, let me know (it's on your start page at the bottom)

2) Join our "Small Streak" Challenge in the challenges thread.

3) Read the Month 4 Update thread for motivation. It's amazing what some of our teammates have accomplished - not without struggle, though. They are just like us and they are successfully reaching goals.

Your team leaders are here when you need us. Best of luck!!

You are back with your motivation intact. That is all that matters. Concentrate on the little things, like drinking a lot of water, moving more, eating less. It adds up after awhile. When I started I refused to look at it as going on a diet. I knew I could never stick with it if I had that mind set. When people would ask me how I was losing weight I would tell them I walk and eat less. I kept it very simple and so far it has been working for the past 4 months. I have had many bad days with burgers, fries, cake, cookies, and all my other 'good friends.' But the next day I go right back to my now normal way of life. You can do it, you only have to worry about doing what you can to be healthy today. What you did or did not do yesterday does not matter. Tomorrow does not exist yet, so dont worry about it! Wow I think I have turned Zen!! lol! Good luck to you, I am here if you need anything!

Same here. I started a part-time job and it wore me out for a while. Didn't post, or eat right - too tired after work. Now I'm back at square one also. I guess the trick is to keep trying. At least I didn't gain all the weight back. Good luck.

I have become very lazy it seems. Not paying attention to what I'm eating etc. I do still manage to walk a couple times a week. I have not been posting, tracking or anything and imagine this, I'm 8 lbs heavier this morning. I plan to get back with it! I wanted to wear a bikini! Now I'm at square one!
