emoticon LuLu!! Sometimes just taking that first step is enough to get you over the hurdle. I find that if I tell myself I'll just workout for 10 minutes, then I can stop, I usually find myself feeling better like you and continuing on.

Today I REALLY wanted to go to Chipotle, have a big burrito, sit and read my book and relax on my lunch break.

Problem is, I attend a swim class for my regular exercise, and it meets on my lunch break... not to mention a chipotle burrito is about 1000 calories!

I hadn't exercised in a week, I had a lazy weekend, I over ate on valentines and a couple other days... i went out ot lunch instead of swimming yesterday... it was raining earlier today... i just wanted to wallow for a few more days and ignore my diet...

but a 1000 calorie meal? i couldnt' justify it! so i told myself if i FORCED my way through todays swim work out, i'd burn about 1100 calories, i could get the burrito on my way back to work and eat half for lunch and half for dinner... and i REALLY wanted that burrito, so i made myself go. i didn't want to, the pool was cold, none of my favorite swim buddies were in attendance (always low in the rain... which makes no sense when you're getting into a pool) for the first 10 -20 minutes i was silently grumbling to myself but plodding along...

half way through class the sun came out... i was breathing really hard, and having fun!

when i got out of the pool i was in an AMAZING mood, had TONS of energy, and a chipotle burrito didn't even sound appetizing anymore!

my motivation is back! I just had to bribe myself into it!

If there were no rain, there could be no rainbows!

I'd like to be thin... but I like food better!
