I have had a similar past few days...but actually reading your post has inspired me. I have been on Spark people for a month now, but I am just now learning how to use all of these forums, and they are great. Thanks everyone for the posts. You all seem very supportive!! Do not worry about 4lbs! You can do it!!! :-) We all can!!

If you fall down...get right back up and keep trying. Do NOT lose sight of those goals!!!

Welcome back! Don't beat yourself up - what's done is done. The most important thing is that you identified the problem and came back. We all fall off the wagon occasionally - we're human afterall.

You won't always have to log everything you eat, etc. This plan is designed to help you slowly make healthy habits that will last a lifetime. And...that takes time.

You're doing GREAT and we're here for you!! WAnd again - welcome back!

Well, I had a similiar week last week and all we can do is forgive ourselves and move forward. You are ready to get back on the proverbial horse so go for it and don't look back. That 4 lbs may come off quicker than you expect b/c now you are motivated! Good luck.

half the battle is mental, "I CAN do it", the other half is mental sabatoge "I've been here before and it hasn't worked why try?" the other half is food, exercise, and support....too many halves make a whole lot of ups and downs...congratulate yourself for continuing on and picking yourself up and dusting yourself off, we all fall at some time, but we get up and keep going, don't look back, it was yesterday and you can't change it, but you can change now and that's what impacts the future!! Hang in there...if it was easy we wouldn't need great sites like this!!!!!

Last week I went into a period of weight denial and diet defiance. In other words... I told my self that this is easy and I can do it on my own and not keep track. Who needs to write down every single thing? I can just keep a journal, stay organised and plan my menu ahead. LIKE I HAVEN'T TRIED THAT FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND FAILED! I gained 4 pounds last week! So, here I am. Back on the road again. This time I will remind myself of how well I do on my own. emoticon
