Many of the cravings we experience are psychologically based. However, we still need to help combat the desire for those unhealthy foods which can throw us off our desired road to health. The following should help head off the need to munch on those undesirables. Hope they help:

If you crave:

Chocolate you need Magnesium which is found in raw nuts and seeds, legumes, fruits

Sweets you need:
*Chromium which is found in Broccoli, grapes, cheese, dried beans, calves liver, chicken

*Carbon found in fresh fruits

*Phosphorus found in Chicken, beef, liver, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, legumes, grains

*Sulfur found in Cranberries, horseradish, cruciferous vegetables, kale, cabbage

*Tryptophan found in Cheese, liver, lamb, raisins, sweet potato, spinach

If you crave:

Bread, toast you need Nitrogen High protein foods found in fish, meat, nuts, beans

Oily snacks, fatty foods you need; calcium Mustard and turnip greens, broccoli, kale, legumes, cheese, sesame

Coffee or tea you need:

*Phosphorous found in Chicken, beef, liver, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, legumes

*Sulfur found in Egg yolks, red peppers, muscle protein, garlic, onion, cruciferous vegetables

*NaCl (salt) found in Sea salt, apple cider vinegar (on salad)

* iron found in Meat, fish and poultry, seaweed, greens, black cherries

If you crave:

Soda and other carbonated drinks you need Calcium Mustard and turnip greens, broccoli, kale, legumes, cheese, sesame

Salty foods you need Chloride Raw goat milk, fish, unrefined sea salt

Acid foods you need Magnesium Raw nuts and seeds, legumes, fruits

Preference for liquids rather than solids you need Water; Flavor water with lemon or lime. You need 8 to 10 glasses per day.

Preference for solids rather than liquids you need Water; You have been so dehydrated for so long that you have lost your thirst. Flavor water with lemon or lime. You need 8 to 10 glasses per day.

Because craving are generally psychologically based, making use of the suggestions above should help change your mindset when cravings arise.
