I know this is from this past year but I want to work on more intense workouts to burn more in less time. I know this is when I'm most successful with the weight loss (with a balance meals in calorie range of course.)
I'd love to use the resources I've pinned on pinterest!

My goal for what is left of the summer is to work out how to get to bed earlier and get consistent about it. I want to be getting up earlier than my kids on school mornings when they go back. In the past our alarms have gone off at the same time - ideally I would like to be up and exercised by the time their alarm goes off, so that I am awake and ON IT and can better herd them, so to speak. Ha ha! I have been exercising again recently, but would like to also get consistent with that (in terms of how often I do it - right now it's kinda willy nilly; again, getting up earlier would allow me to be more consistent with exercising, because if I got up early enough, I could do that before anyone needs me to do anything or be anywhere.

My goals are all along the lines of eating healthier and making sure I continue to exercise. My shoulder is still healing so strength training has been hard but I try to do isometric type exercises to build muscle and I've been doing more stretching. That is a huge goal for me is to be stretching to prevent any more injuries.

My goal is to lose 30 lbs by the end of summer. I am working out with a personal trainer to build some muscle to help with the fat loss. Trying to cut out all extra sugar in order to make my goal. I have been on this schedule since January 28 and have lost 22 lbs so far and hope for another 30 in the next three months.

My goal for the Spring is to do the 3 Day Miliary diet Mon-Wed, slowly eliminate my vices such as Pepsi & Cheese Pringles. Once my garden comes in I will be doing all raw for the summer so I will do a 7 day juice fast at the end of May.

Also I have set up an exercise routine and want to see if I can get myself into the PX90, doing Walk-away-the pounds right now so I have a bit to go. LOL

I also started a new website for people that have lost weight and are getting back into the dating scene or for people to find other healthy minded individuals.

To stop eating so much extra sugar.-Its just a bad habit. And refraining from chocolates. I figure doing that will save me 400-500 extra calories a day I've been adding to my intake.

Starting April 1 I'm aiming for six weeks of consistent focus on wellness. Two strength and three cardio sessions a week; eating five fruits/veggies a day; losing a pound a week.
Thanks for restarting the team!

I just ordered the fitness program, "Slim in 6" and it is supposed to arrive this Monday, April 1st. Perfect timing! So starting next week for the next 6 weeks, I will have a new workout and I'm looking forward to it!

I'll also be concentrating just how many calories I am eating and reduce how many glasses of wine I have each week.

I had to think about this. I have my general "work on consistency" and a poundage goal, but I decided to think about something that I will really have to work for.

My goal for April 1 through June 31 (second quarter of the year) is to be able to climb a 1 mile section of road that on my bike with out stopping. I have not been able to, and usually have to stop 4-5 times.

Like many others, I want to get more consistent with my exercise and get rid of the excuses. I started the first couple of months doing at least two exercises per day, often more. However, that had to stop when I had unexpected surgery. But, I'm on the mend, so I need to get back to it. We have just taken in an almost 15-year-old and I want to show her the benefits of exercising and eating right. Hoping to get her out to walk the dog with me once the weather cooperates. :) Until then, I'll continue to use the workout generator and my elliptical.

Well, it has been a long winter and although SPRING is upon us I still see snow out my window. So, I have to find a way to accept that I can't change the weather, only my attitude. This translates into getting out there and walking!!! Bought the outfit-gotta do the time. My
daughter has spring break next week and we will be getting out for a walk as much as possible. Temps will be in the 40's, first thought is yuck! As I focus on my goal I shall not be
defeated by the weather!! Good luck to all of you this weekend-stay strong! emoticon

My goals are to get my exercise routine back up to where it was before I got derailed (lots of walking, running, assorted cardio, strength & yoga) and to get my healthy eating habits back in line (ditching the fast food, convenience foods and soda).

My goals for the spring are to incorporate strength training into my exercise routine, keep up with the cardio, lower my calorie range over the new few weeks, and think about ways to stick with these great habits for the long term.

I want to get out and start walking again. Right now Spring has not hit Northern Michigan. We still have a lot of snow on the ground and it's too cold to get out and walk. Once it's walking weather I will set a walking goal.

I also need to start strength training again.

I haven't been on this site in a long time :( I have been doing Curves exercise for a couple of months and it has really helped build muscle, unfortunately no weight loss yet. My goal for spring is to stick with the exercise and hopefully drop a few pounds. When the weather clears and the roads melt I may try running. I always walked with my dog but he passed away in November and I have had no urge to do it without him.

I guess this year I want it to be no more excuses and to get my butt out there and have fun and be healthy.

My goals for spring and summer:
1. run 5 k in May with my friends. They are all runners, and I've done a couple run/walk ones in the past, but I would really like to be able to run the whole way by then.

2. lose 5 lbs. - that's it, just that 5 lbs. but those are tough buggers.

I would say that I really only have 2 major spring goals:

Be consistent with my nutrition and exercise. (I think that's something we all struggle with); and

Not let big recent life changes to get me down or act as an excuse to not do what's healthy for my body. (I'm separated and laid off at work as part of a big staff reduction).

Each of these sounds easy when you write them down but boy do I need help keeping in line! emoticon

I think its great to share our goals. And Spring is the perfect time for it. Well, I can tell its Spring on the calendar, not by the snow that I see outside my window!

I have irritable bowel syndrome and I will find a way to manage my diet and exercise to help with that.

I willincorporate exercise into my daily life without it become a chore. I have joined a gym close to where I work and plan to go there 3x/week.

I will find a few friends who want to walk with me (when the snow is gone) a few times a week.

I will learn successful strategies to deal with a negative work environment or make a change.

Those might not be very specific, but its my start to a list of goals.

I haven't been on here in a while so I plan to log in daily and track my food and exercise!

Good luck to everyone!!

I have gotten some feedback (both from reading the more recent team posts and from e-mails received) from team members, which is greatly appreciated! emoticon

Now that spring is upon us after a long winter, I am sure that, like myself, many of you will take this opportunity to set new goals for yourself. I would be delighted to have you share these with the group. emoticon By being aware of your individual needs and goals, it will help to incorporate them into team goals, as well as team challenges, to assist in meeting these goals.

Please share...your feedback is greatly appreciated!
