Did you know that posting projects on your linkedin can get you noticed by recruiters and employers? It also prevents you from being screened out from positions because it maps your experience, interests, makes you stand out, and causes you to show up in employer and recruiter web searches. Don't take such actions for granted I find in interviews employers are often misinformed about how related college experience can be to engineering projects conducting on the job. I pickedup these from reading "I'm On linked Now What", and "Six Reasons You'll Get The Job". I just posted a report project on my linkedin about semiconductor materials inspection processes. I got an 80% on the original report I wrote for a grad class on report writing. Took me several weeks to research the reading material for it, and I learned a lot that contributed to further my understanding about the undergrad final project in which I participated in a team that designed an infrared motion detector. Much of the aspects of this project are unfinished, because its designed required an understanding of many challenging areas of engineering. To further my understanding about this I plan on exploring related mathematics and science and also several grad papers about vibration and motion detection. I shall put such information in a series of reports and videos I plan to post on my linkedin and in the JSF-post. Posting such information shall advertise and exercise my understanding of engineering, and help others. Notes about these and many other projects I designed in college are posted on my linkedin. What college did you attend and what projects do you do in your spare time. I find it true that exercising wakes up the mind and for that reason can foster creative thinking. Do you feel the same way?
