Okay, I started this challenge on the 30th but then got the flu and couldn't continue for a few days. I decided to wait until the new challenge materials had been released to begin again.

Well, today I received my first email and link to download the "workbook". After reviewing the first week, my opinion is that this newer version is NOT better and IS harder. So, my decision is to restart the OLD challenge on Monday - 2/20/17 and modify the cardio to my personal fitness level. Once complete, I may start the NEW challenge with modifications for my fitness level. I will continue to update my progress here on the forums.

If anyone would like to join in this challenge with me, Below are download links for all the OLD challenge workbooks. For the NEW challenge, I will reply here with the links as I get them.

Yesterday I received an email from Lorna Leeson (the creator of the 30 Day Rider Fitness Challenge) inviting me to redo the challenge. I have copied the message below...

Hello fellow riders. I wanted to start this thread to invite you to join this challenge. 30 days to becoming a better rider... No horse required! I plan to begin the challenge on Jan. 29, 2017 and finish by the end of February. Please join me! This is a personal challenge - not a competition, so do all that you can do and feel great about it! I completed this challenge last year and it is TOUGH, but when I was done I lost...
12 lbs.
2 inches from my waist
1.5 inch from my hips (and bum)
1 inch from my thighs (each)
AND I gained better stamina & balance emoticon
