Patty, I am so relieved things weren't worse for your son and will keep praying for all of you. It's so hard when a family member goes through a crisis like that. Take care of that fibromyalgia. I don't think you've had a flare up for awhile?

Nina, How wonderful you are all set for camping now and have an easier step to get into it.

I hope everyone gets some cooling weather this coming week.

Good Evening

DS came later in the morning as he slept in. He most likely needed it as he is a early riser like me. DDIL came with him today and we had a nice visit.
The rv is now coated and ready to go again. DS said he had a milk crate for me to be able to step on to get in the trailer. Hopefully that will help my knee.

Patty Still praying for you son. Hopefully you will get done what you want next week and fun at it. It sure is amazing to me how stress can cause us with different problems to flare up, but it certainly does. Praying for you too.

Vicki stay as cool as possible.

Karen thanks for the suggestion of the cumin/turmeric. Those are two of the spices I have to be careful with because of my IC. I can have them on Mexican Food if I do not eat them a lot. So glad it gives you some relief with your knees. Especially with all the other you have to deal with.

Jan - sounds like a very fun time with your church group.

Hi Girls,
Son did get up a couple of times today, but excruciating pain each time he moved.
Also his head hurt almost as much as a migraine.

He may go home tomorrow, not sure.

He is very blessed to not be dead or paralyzed, since landing on his head and shoulder.

We will go back up tomorrow to see what is going on and to get some groceries..

My fibromyalgia seems to be kicking in, probably due to stress.

Karen, it was only in the 70's here today, and for the next couple of days still, though humid.

Jan, so glad you had a good time.

I miss a family church, but hubby doesn't want to go, and I'm not one to go by myself. We shall see.

The outdoor service and picnic were so much fun. It was at a lake in a covered picnic area. Picnic was right afterwards with lots of good food. The church supplied coffee, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hotdogs and condiments. Then people brought salads, fruit or veggies and desserts. It took awhile for the coals to light in the outdoor grill so some of us started with salads or desserts. I had a really good macaroni salad with shrimp, veggies, some fresh fruit, a brownie, a chocolate candy. Lots of good visiting. A few people brought their dogs and visiting relatives.

Bruce is napping now.

Nina, I hope your son got there before the sun got too hot. Sounds like good camp times ahead.

Vicki, Wise to stay inside when it's that hot.

Karen, How fun to go to the party but I remember getting in and out of a car when it's super hot out.

Patty, Still praying for your son. I hope you got a good report today.

I went to my great grandsons first birthday party today. It was nice but the drive to & from was miserable. This heat & humidity will be leaving tomorow. Possible storms tonight. PATTY. ...hope your son continues to heal. It may take a few weeks. NINA.....I know it does not work for everyone but CURCUMIN/TURMERIC really helps my knee pain. I take pills but some just add it to food. You have to take the supplement that contains pepper to get best results. I wish it helped with my other aches but as least my knees dont hurt when i am faithful in taking my supplement .

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. It's too hot here to do much of anything so we're just staying inside where it's cool. Have a chance of rain later this afternoon.

If the plan doesn't work, change the plan, not the goal.
My goal is to be healthier, period !

Good morning Girls,
Jan, sounds like such a fun day.

Nina, hoping your son can come early and coat the roof of the camper.
Have fun with whatever you get into today.

My Dr. told me the same thing about pounds lost versus knees and hips.

Son did not go home yesterday, so we are leaving soon to go see how he is doing. Talked to DDIL last night, and she is running on fumes. Please pray for her too.

I have been working on crochet and loom knit hats.

Next week I want to finish the Snowman scarf, make Nov. owl block for 2017 cal. And other misc. projects along the way, but those are my goals.

Hi to all.

I need to take the above seriously. Since loading my trailer two weeks ago, I have been having problems with my knee. Been taking ibuprofen to hopefully help it. I have to load the trailer again this week. We are suppose to go camping over the week-end. I will try and put it on the floor and then put it up inside. I have 3 members of my immediate family that have knee problems and my mom has had knee surgery, so I need to take care of my knees.

Woke up at 4:45 so decided to get up and get ready to do my walk. Went out the door and it was really smoky. could smell it. So went back in. Guess it will be the mini trampoline today. Looked it up and there is a newer fire down near the Phoenix area and Prescott area. All areas that blow our direction. It does look like rain starting Wed of next week. Hopefully that will put some of them out or at least clear our air.

DS is coming this morning to coat the top of our RV. Sure hope he gets here really early as it will be hot. There were clouds this morning, so maybe it will be a little cooler.

Made biscuits and put the fan on and a window open to blow the heat outside. So we will get biscuits and gravy this morning. Have not cooked much in the house and had not baked at all.

Maybe I will get in the craft room.

Hope you all have a great Sunday.

Jan have a great time today at the outside service and picnic. What fun!

Good Sunday morning girls,

It's not quite as sunny here this morning but supposed to be a nice day. 71 degrees they say.

Today is the outdoor church service and picnic afterwards. So just a day of fun I think.

Have a great day everyone. Stay cool!
