Hi everyone

I have had a busy day. Cleaning, Cooking, Making a Peach cobbler my grandson asked for. Made a Broccoli, Mac Casserole. Used a SkinnyTaste recipe. On the internet is where I fund it. I tweaked it of course to make it go for all 6 of us. Went to pick the kids up at the bus stop. Ate the casserole, biscuits. Then helped the youngest one with homework. DH helped the youngest boy and the 2 older ones did their homework on their own. They are now all in bed asleep as they get up between 5:30 and 6 am to catch the bus.

don't have time to answer each one individually. I did read everyone's replies.

Today I reluctantly cooked! My house is now very warm. I made Grandma's meatloaf deluxe, and from the hamburger book I made bbq beef and put it all in the freezer.
It's busy today. We have to mail bills, go to grocery store, to Target, to Pet Smart , the bank and then home. Next week husband goes on vacation and is going to do a little more work on our tiny kitchen.

Ann what a nice surprise ! My son who lives in NV did this once. The doorbell rang and there he was with my granddaughter.

Patty what meatloaf did you make? I love trying lots of recipes for meatloaf.

Jan I hope your sons arm is healing nicely.

Enjoy the rest of the day, almost evening I imagine, depending on where you are located.

Good Morning. Still morning here. I could sure tell it was a 'Monday' after a holiday. What a lot of traffic as I headed to the lab this morning. I pulled in the exit lane and prayed I wouldn't get rear ended. The line was that long. I just got to the lab at my app't time and in and out. In that short time the traffic was moving a lot better. I have a Dr. app't tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. I better allow myself more time than usual.

Yesterday afternoon we went over to DS for BBQ just before 4. DS was on top of the roof of his motor home painting it. I walked in to the kitchen from the garage and the door to his very small panty in the kitchen opens and out jumps DS#1 from N..C, That was a surpirse. I saw the door opening and thought maybe it was GS although I had been told he was at his mothers. #!DS says he can stay a month. (I don't think he's been a month away from home before) I'm sure he'll get bored and leave before that. He brought his computer and work with him so he can work while he's here. He does consulting work mostly for a NYC lightening company. He said their garden at home is done for so it was a good time to come.
He'll be staying at his brothers and it will be a good time the three of them DSs and DD to bond.

Patty I think I'm making your meat loaf tonight. DH has gone to take DS to lunch and a stop at a store to get some shampoo.

We have cooled down or maybe it is just the humidity has gone.
