Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr You can keep your snow and cold weather. I tried freezing whole tomatoes once and decided it wasn't worth it. This year our 3 tomato plants didn't do very well. We have one that was planted late on purpose and I think DH has picked one tomato off of it. I think that canned tomatoes more than any other veg. are better canned as you can use that for so many things. My DIL cans tomatoes as did my mother.

This has been a rather long day. Up at 6 a.m. to get my walk in with Leslie and gather up snacky items to take. I had made a packaged pumpkin bread that tasted pretty good and I cut up a Honey Crisp apple to take. Darn if I didn't forget to put the numbing ointment on my port. Didn't remember until I saw another person come in with their port covered in plastic to keep the meds. off your clothes.

My app't was at 8 a.m. Traffic was bumper to bumper the 1st half of the trip. Got there at 7:45 and I'm the first patient there. The chemo nurse came in right after me. Then another patient came in. A younger women with her mother and day who stayed with her playing on their computers. The nurse can't find my records. So the young women gets hooked up. Then another lady comes in and she gets hooked up. Finally at 9:15 a.m. some one found them in the doctors office. The chemo nurse only works there part time so she would not go in there too look for them. I wonder why since everything is on the computer she couldn't pull it up and print out what ever she needed. I was out of there at 1 p.m. and had two bags of chemo. Same as I have been getting the last four weeks.

As we are leaving two of the ladies asked DH who was trailing me if this was my first chemo since I got a shot after treatment. He said no. I later asked him if the ladies asked why I got a shot and he said no. Then I asked him why I get the shot. " His response was so you don't get nausea. " NOoooooooooooooooo I get the shot to bring my white blood cell count up because the red chemo I get pulls it down. Now if I asked him something with the word 'ship' and Navy' in the sentene he would have answered lickaty split.

I also got my last weeks lab report and my cancer markers did go down. Not a lot but down 8 pts. That's better than up 2 pts.

Hi everyone,

Sarah, Days can evaporate! This one just did.

Cloudy, rainy and foggy here. A good day to be inside. I made Becky's Prize-Winning Banana Bread and just remembered I need to add it to the nutrition tracker. Also did some cleaning and tidying. Need to go put the clean sheets on he bed.

Patty, isn't it amazing how snow is so beautiful coming down?

Hi Everyone

No snow here Patty, but we do have cooler temps. Thank goodness. Fall finally found Florida.

Patty as usual you have some awfully cute pieces on your blog. Those tomatoes look good.

I kept thinking I would post and then the days just got away from me. I would turn around and the day was gone. Here it is November already. The holidays are here!

Remember we reset our clocks this weekend.

Enjoy your evening.
