I try to think of positive things such as how nice it would be to drop a size or two...or how nice it will be to have more energy.

I motivate myself mentally. I think positive thoughts, pray to the Lord, read motivational books, and help to motivate others. I am a motivational speaker in our area.

I am motivated when I read of other's successes too. When the seasons change, it always puts me in the mood to change something in my life. I get determined all over again to discipline myself in a certain area.

As far as weight loss, I haven't been losing pounds, but I'm getting activity and feeling better. Whenever I feel better, it makes me want to push myself to the next level. Talking with like minded people is also a good motivator. Watch out spending time with negative Nellies. They can bring you down when you are really trying to stay motivated.

I tell myself it is a new day and yesterday ended last night. I get on spark and no matter what the outcome is I log that food and exercise and start reading some of the articles and posts. Someone elses success always motivates me. Good luck!
