The cat is just plain mean. The roommate said he'd grow out of it. He hasn't. She said he'd be better after being fixed. He's not. I have had enough.

So sorry to hear about the cat attacking you. Is it friendly and could it be trying to get your attention. I had one that wanted to be held and stroked and if I ignored her she would jump on me. Once I realized this was her way of getting my attention, all was well. I found if I walked in the room where she was and started talking to her she would purr and all was fine. If I sat down I picked her up and put her in my la' or beside me.

Keep on track

Well, last night was a humdinger... Total anxiety. I worry about my family. I worry about work. I worry about exercise. I worry about what to prepare for dinner so that both roommates are satisfied. I worry about housework. I worry, worry, worry.

How are YOU?

I was told by accounting that the money I had set aside for Christmas needs to be used for other circumstances. Merry Christmas.

I have a job writing for a women's website and do several side hustles. My crafts are going to have to be completed in warp speed to make some extra money.

I opened up a tote crate today and found dressy winter clothes that I forgot I even had. The clothes were all gifts from Santa over the past few Christmas'. I will have nice clothes for church if my neighbor ever asks me to go. For some odd reason, the neighbor does not ask me to go to church anymore. I about passed out today though, cause she asked me to go to the church craft show on Thursday. I have no money to spend but it will be nice to get out and socialize. Fun fun.

The roommates' kitten tore into my knee. They acted like it was no big deal. The kitten can do no wrong.

Today I loaned a ton of Woman's World magazines from the local library. YEA! My favorite magazine. If I get anxiety, I can always read the anxiety away. When I go through magazines, I like to find the hidden gems as opposed to what the diet of the week is. Although, sometimes there are really neat diets.

Well, this is my dissertation for tonight. If you are up late, message me or something. I would love to hear from you.

Sincerely,
ON_A_DIET

Lemon in hot water works. After awhile it does not taste offensive. I do my exercise early as it tends to get my body into go and if I do it late I am unable to,sleep

Hello team!

Just a short message.

I am going to be on Sparkpeople today, then work.

Lately, I have been thinking about setting up a daily appointment for exercise. I am not a morning person, so probably around 5:00pm or so would be good. It is not "when" you exercise...just get it done!

Following, I am so wondering why not one person is joining my pro-life team. It is not some political activist team. It is simply a team to pray for those who cannot. Totally harmless and non-violent. Would you think about joining?

On the job front, I ordered Writers' Market from the library 3 weeks ago and is still not in. I want to find magazines accepting book reviews. I am good at book reviews and would not mind doing them for money. It is still freelance work, though. I would love to have a job doing on-line weight loss coaching. Still not giving up!

Today, I am drinking warm water with lemon to cleanse. uuugh

Be good!

Hey team!

During the past 2 days, I have been job searching. I just cannot find the right job. There just has not been one that is a perfect fit. I have looked at sales, blogging, writing, editing, book reviewing and on and on. I still dream of having a fitness and nutrition job. I applied to a company called WeightNot, but never heard from them, other than an e-mail stating that they got the application.

A few days ago, I went over tons of writing prompts, of which were basically useless. I got even more writers' block!

So, earlier today, I had a stress-breaker. I went out with the neighbor to a yard sale and thrift shop. I bought a ton of useful stuff for about $20.00. All useful. 4 new workout DVDs...everything from Prevention's Chris Freytag to Biggest Loser! Cookbooks. Sandwich maker. T-shirt. Fitness books.

Gosh, I even feel guilty for being on Sparkpeople instead of job-hunting even if for a couple of hours!

I have a library book that is about making salads in jars. One of the jar recipes is for Burger in a jar... and another is about Tuna in a jar (Deli style)...both salads. Later on tonight, I want to clean out my fridge and make room for jars. I think it is an excellent idea to have these jars made ahead of time for when I am hard at work and too stubborn to make something for lunch. I usually just throw some lunchmeat or cheese or peanut butter on bread. Yes, this is good to do.

I have a new pedometer and do NOT like it. Instead of wearing on your wrist or on your shoe, you have to keep it in your pocket. So, guess who has to wear pockets every day? It was the only store to have a pedometer in stock so I had to buy it. I hate not knowing how many miles/steps I have walked.

Well, I have potatoes (with butter & oil) in the crockpot then I will add pasta the last half hour of cooking. Spiced up with garlic salt, onion powder, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, but we are out of parsley..

I have a very exciting life, huh? LOL Thanks for being my Sparkfriends!

Be good and Spark on!

Hello!

Just a short message today. I saved enough writing prompts from pinterest to keep me busy for a million years! Oh well, atleast I will not have writers' block for a while!

I would like to create my own Mediterranean Diet Sparkteam. Would you be interested?

I am having my morning iced coffee. FYI You can get French Vanilla and Hazelnut at Dollar Tree for a buck a bag. My favorite is chocolate raspberry by Arbuckle, but $4.99 a bag. I just cannot afford it.

It figures that I want to lay out today and the clouds are already blocking the sun. uuugh

Not sure what I want to throw in the crockpot today. Any recipes you'd like to share?

Well, I will sign off for now. Be good today and Spark on.

Hello! How are you today? I hope well!

Well, so far I have published an article today and am pleased. Now I can play with you on Sparkpeople for a little while!

Earlier this week, I bought bunches of broccoli on clearance for 49 cents a bunch. I am in the mood for broccoli cheese soup in the crockpot! So, I will attempt to get to a store to get a block of Velveeta today.

It is December 1 and there has only been 1 snowfall here. I thank God!

I am making snowman soup for little Christmas gifts. I used coupons for Swiss Miss hot cocoa and Kraft marshmellows at Dollar Tree. So far, I have enough for about 24 baggies to give and paid less than $10.00 for everything, you figure: hot cocoa, marshmellows, baggies, ribbon. The candy canes I already had as bought on Christmas clearance LAST YEAR!!!!! I may be poor but I have the Christmas spirit.

I am still a little shook up over the van driver I rely on this past Tuesday. He almost wrecked the van twice. He always drives wrecklessly but this time it was the last straw. Nobody believes me. What do I do when it DOES snow and there are icy conditions? See where I am getting?

My pedometer is faithfully on my show. Wherever I go, it is there!

Well, be good!

emoticon TRAVELFAN. You were missed! Moving can be such a hassle, however, the positive spin on it is look at all the calories you are burning. emoticon Best of luck finding a buyer and sending prayers that they give an offer price you're happy with. Finally, best wishes on finding a house you want to buy, may it be reasonably priced, need minimal fixing in an area that brings a smile to face.

Okay, that's a lot to ask for (lol!), but nothing wrong with aiming for the furthest star.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Hello fellow sparkers. I am sorry I have been AWOL for a while but there's a lot going on in my life and I have not been able to post as often as I would like to. We are downsizing and have put our house up for sale. I have been busy packing, cleaning up, looking for a new house and all the "good stuff" associated with moving. We are staying in the same area but we want a house of half the size of the one we had.

I will do my best to post more often. I hope y'all had a great summer.
