Wasn't it wonderful to watch him get on the plane for the last time! I was jumping around my office!

Yay! W is back in Texas instead of messing up the country.

I didn't even mind those gutter balls when I thought about throwing his stuff into the gutter. I figure about 210 pounds of it went out on the 17th. Then there were about 60 more with the "lady weights" on the 20th.

Wish I could have done more, but I am kind of a wimp lately.

So far:

1/16: 273 pounds (with 1.5 pound weights)
1/17: 210 pounds (bowling)
1/18: I moved a REAL suitcase around!
1/19: 2650 pounds (lower body w/machines - think forklift, I guess)
1/20: 159 pounds (with 1.5 pound weights again)

The smaller weights could be George, Laura, and Dick (he hangs out there, right?). The one suitcase can be the stuff they OUGHT to be able to take. The rest of the weight can be their cronies!

How much does Laura weigh? She needs to go as well. I don't know about having dumbbells in my hands anywhere near George W. I might want to check them at him. Would that count???

Don't dumbbells sound like the PERFECT exercise item here?

You know strength training is good for you, but youíre starting to flag during Week 3 of your New Yearís resolutions. Hereís a little game:

Letís count all weight lifted/pressed as stuff weíre packing into the moving van at the White House. If you lift 20 pounds once, thatís 20 pounds. If you do 10 arm curls with 2-pound weights, thatís also 20 pounds.

Why not describe what that weight could be? For example, 5 wrist curls with a 1-pound weight could be Wís entire collection of books (the ones without pictures).

We could get more imaginative, of course. How much does W himself weigh? How about Dick Cheney? Everything must go, after all!

Letís pack stuff between now and Inauguration Day (W has till NOON to get out of the White House). Keep track of your progress here. The winner will get a SparkGoodie and an endless source of giggles.
