Thank you for the insight on the class. I tried it Saturday morning and today I am definitely feeling it. My arms & inner thighs are quite sore. I will without a doubt take this class again. I love how empowering I felt after the class was over.

You can have RESULTS or EXCUSES... not both!

You can't spell CHALLENGE without CHANGE!

Expect to be challenged and to challenge yourself. I don't know whether you've taken the 24LIFT class or not -- Pump is somewhat similar except that you use a heavier barbell, and are spending more time adding or taking off weights, and somewhat fewer reps. No handweights. I hope you get a good instructor: I had one for as a LIFT substitute with a real macho attitude that I did not find motivating; I've had others in the Pump class or as LIFT subs that were more encouraging. You will do lunges, squats, hip hinges, rows, tricep kickbacks, maybe tricep pushups; pushups; bicep curls, and generally work it all out. Have a great time!

Tomorrow I am going to try the new Body Pump class for the first time. By any chance has anyone already taken this class? If so, what shall I expect?
