It can be really hard coming back after a surgery. My gallbladder removal (while laparascopic) was very traumatic. It was months before I could do any exercises which would affect my waist. If you can get in at least 15 min of walking then that will help you maintain your weight instead of adding. My dh actually lost weight and didn't walk a single step or any other exercise.

I haven't been doing too good myself lately, exercise is way down. I mustn't let this good weather pass without getting outside.

I do try to get in here daily and rack up some points. I've referred SparkPeople to several friends and family too. Just had to share my enthusiasm! I had tried other sites with food tracking features, but this site is FUN! However, not making excuses but....my activity level is low due to my surgery recuperation. Sometimes I get sooooo frustrated! HELP keep me sane!

Being active, good for you! You are already earning points with exercising, reading and logging-in... Stop in when you can, the challenge doesn't start till next month, and all one has to do is occasionally post their Sparkpoints earned.

It's gorgeous out, hope you have a great weekend! emoticon

Hello,

I am here but very busy working on the renovation of our home, and exercising, playing golf, hiking, biking and swimming. I log on right before bed to try to read, email and log in my food eaten for the day. I appreciate the challenge but do not have enough hours in the day right now. Hope you are well.

Hmm, perhaps it's too soon to hold a challenge for this small team... Anyone still out there? or rather, in here? emoticon

I got another 20 point spin on the log-in wheel today! What are the chances of that?

Hope everyone is well. :)

Just 'spun' my Spark wheel and got 20 points today! emoticon

Gave me an idea for a challenge, too, that I hope you all will be interested in joining. Since a new month is right around the corner, we could make a challenge to earn the most Spark points.

You may not think earning points has much to do with weight loss but I have found it a positive help in the past. You earn points by logging in, trying new recipes, exercising, keeping track of your daily food intake, reading articles and even chatting with one another. All this exposure can indeed spur us along to better health of which weight loss is an important component.

Please respond here if you'd like to join the challenge, all are welcome and very much encouraged!
