I know what you mean by fiting in the time. I don't know if it is a women thing or not, but it seems we put everything before taking care of ourselves. I am trying to change that habit also. I think my mother or grandmother or great great grandmother or some women started that and we have been doing it every since. Time for that to stop. Time to put ourselves first so we can do all of those other things even better. emoticon

LOL, I wouldn't have a job outside in bad weather. emoticon Seriously though, I agree with your point. Taking care of ourselves is crucial in every area of life as our attitude and health follow us in every relationship (family, work, friends) and duties (home, job, community).

There are times when it truly is too difficult to fit in an hour of exercise. I found this week though that I can always squeeze in 15 or 20 minutes for a walk after dinner, some strength training circuits before bed or a Pilates session before breakfast. Of course, I'm looking forward to a less busy week where I can add in longer walks and exercises for 40-50 minutes each session.

The weather is now better for out door exercise. But just remember if our job was out side would we just do it when the weather was cool? We have to all start making ourselves more important than our jobs. After all if we are not healthy we can't do a good job. I think of it like saving the good dishes for company. Don't we deserve to use the good dishes also?

It can be a difficult challenge to fit that in before work. I worked today, didn't have to be there till 9AM and still didn't fit it in. But like you said, now that it's cooler in the evenings, I sometimes take at least a 15 min walk around the neighborhood -- even that little bit makes a difference!

Sounds wonderful! I can't drag myself out of bed early enough to get a walk (or anything else) in before work. But now that it's finally cooling down in the evenings I hope to get the motivation to start walking or riding my bike after work.

I was beginning to fear summer would never go away (LOL, used to love it before AZ) so this change is so much appreciated. Loved how the patio felt so cool under my feet this morning. Some serious walking is in store for me! emoticon

YAY! It was SO NICE out yesterday. And it was only 70 degrees on my way to work this morning.

I need to get serious about doing SOME sort of exercise (I usually don't exercise at all!). Something outside would be great! Maybe I'll dust off my bike.

Yeah! The thermometer is going to stay under 100 -- thought we'd never get here again!

Gonna get serious about walking now!
