emoticon emoticon You can make that last pound disappear! I know it!

I'm still doing well - I'm pushing myself as much as I can with the lack of sunlight. It is definitely making me crazy! I love the temperatures this time of year, but I hate the lack of sunlight during my off hours. I am stuck inside doing exercise videos (not my favorite exercise) instead of being outside walking/running during the week. BLAH! I'd much rather be outside, but I hate it when it's cold. I may have to tell hubby too bad I'm walking right after work no matter what since it's warmer in the evenings. We'll see

emoticon looking good out there! One more pound and I will have lost 40 lbs total. I am hoping I will hit that this Friday at my weight in. Then Sat it is off on a Mexican Rivera Cruise...where I will really have to kick butt to stay on track and not eat or drink too much emoticon

Have now hit two goals! Over one year of not smoking and am below the 150lb mark! Just hit my third goal, under 140lbs! 03/27/09 hit the 50 pounds lost goal!

I think when the health issues became the focus is when I got serious about dropping the weight.

I hit the 20 lb total loss mark last week. I'm down 1 more than that this week. My November total is 3 lbs and counting. and I'm up to over 700 exercise minutes before I even start on today's activity.

How's everyone else doing?

Good for you! Agree health issue are much more important than the actual weight. Glad to hear you are moving forward on those.

You might as well give it a shot. I have to keep some goals in mind or I won't get anywhere. For me though it's not all about the loss - it's also about being a healthier person overall and putting my risk factors for high blood pressure and diabetes down a bit from where they were when I started (my dad has both - and was diagnosed fairly early in life for the types etc.). I think I'm getting there on all fronts so I'm happy.

Good here too. I'm going to be working hard this month. I want to see a loss over the course of the next few months. I really want to be at my end goal weight by midsummer next year at the latest and I can't be gaining if I'm going to meet that goal.

I've set a goal for myself of 2000 fitness minutes this month. I hit around 1700 last month and wasn't very consistent so I think that I can hit 2000 if I am more consistent with everything. Between that and watching my calorie intake I should be able to shed a few lbs....

Things are going really good for me, other than I have been so dang busy. Have my daughter and her family coming in Nov 6th that I have been getting ready for, plus had big family Halloween that I am still cleaning up after emoticon Hope everyone is starting the month out right!
