It's all too easy to get off track. I've been getting in much exercise and eating prudently but still not seeing much for my efforts. I'll keep working on it though; if I could do it a year ago it should still be attainable.
I'm glad you were able to find a DVD you like. I think I tried one years ago, or maybe it was when he was on TV. He does extremely well with motivation and encouragement while making things fun. Let 'em laugh while you lose weight and get in great shape. emoticon I am so picky about routines, one of my dancercise tapes is really, really old and I still use it about once a week.

I am also very stuck on Winsor Pilates although I've tried numerous other Pilates.

Well, here I am again. I checked in for a few days then got busy and distracted and got off track again. It sure doesn't take much!

I am still not really losing weight at this point, but I'm just glad I'm not gaining either! I really need to get motivated! I did purchase the Richard Simmons Sweatin' to the Oldies DVD. Everyone laughed at me, but I used to work out to that VHS video and it was the only workout that I've ever actually enjoyed. I have only done it a couple times since I've gotten it though. I just don't have the motivation! emoticon

Wow, we certainly do have similar goals, and that may help us with motivation.

It did get real quiet here after our little start. I had thought more folks would be interested in an East Valley team rather than the very broad Arizona, and more limited city teams. Anyway, I'm still around and ready to give it a go again any time.

SASGAL, you're also very welcome and encouraged to check out the Wee Bit of Irish Challenge I have going on in the Challenges forum. You can link to it here: sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard

Hi! I've been gone for a while and I REALLY need to get focused again on losing weight! This site has helped me in the past and I'm hoping it will help me again.

I see that not many people are chatting in this team anymore, but I'm hoping someone is still checking in! Let's keep each other motivated!!

GRACEINAZ, it looks like we have VERY simmilar goals...looks like we're at about the same weight (at least as of the last time you posted) and have about the same goal. What can we do to stay motivated???
