I used to dislike glucose tablets but now, on SP, I find they are the cleanest way to handle a low without overeating.
Glad you are getting back with the program! emoticon

I used a pump a few years ago and had to quit because I lost my insurance and the cost was too much. I now use multiple daily injections and have recently upped my game to get back on track. I was letting myself slip and had to wake up and get serious. I haven't got back into exercising much yet, but I plan on starting out with some light strength training and then when the weather cooperates, walking. I make sure to keep glucose tablets on me as they are the easiest way to correct low blood sugar. I may as I get back into exercising eat a few grams of carbohydrate during.

It's been a while since this Team has been actively discussing our "big deal": T1D.
How are you doing balancing diet, exercise and insulin?

I find that in the evening I have control issues; sometimes low blood sugars, for example, due to new exercise routines.
I have talked to my healthcare team about temporary basal rates, but as spontaneous as I am, remembering to start the temp an hour before exercising is sometimes hard.

How is everyone else managing?
