Yeah I agree with Carey. I'd try 25 and if you end up having a high BG afterward I would probably increase it a little.

hi and welcome to the team for me personally I would go with the 25 carbs since it is easy to cover with a correction dose if it was not enough but when you go low it becomes harder to think stright and for me i have no hypoglycemic awareness so better to err on the side of caution

Hi, I'm new to both SP and this team. It's been fun browsing, but I'm confused about canned fruit...

When you count the carbs in canned fruit how much of that is juice and how much is fruit? I'd like to drain the juice completely, but would that make the carb count still accurate? Take this for example: according to the nutrition tracker canned pears have 38g of carb for a cup, and fresh pears only have 25g. If I drain the liquid from the canned pears should I only bolus for 25g?
