I can't speak for that particular pump because i have the minimed 722 ( which I love!! )the 2 most popular ones are the anamias ping and minimed since they no longer make the disatronic. I was worried about the pain associated with it but now I found the infusion set that works for me. I think it all has to come down to what you prefer. for me the quickset which goes in at a 90' angle felt very uncomfortable but now I use the silluotes which go in at a 40' angle which to me does not feel like it is deeper. I know personally for me the pump has changed everything about my diabetes better control more flexabilty less shots now I only have to get stuck 1 time every 3 days and checkin my bg. I used to not want one and it took a lot of people to get me to change my mind. I wish i would have gotten it sooner.

Does anyone have one of these? And if so, what do you think of it. I am pretty sure that I am going to get one, just waiting for the paperwork to go through. I have noticed a lot of people talk about the discomfort that inserting the infusion set causes. I wore a "dummy" pump for a few days, and when I inserted the infusion set and for the few days that I wore it I didn't have any type of discomfort--was this misleading!? I'm not big on pain:(

Thanks for any info you can provide.
