Poor kitty! I'm sure the vet understands-hey,it got fixed! I had a cat for 18 years (found out
after 2 years-I am very allergic,so while I loved her,I can't get another-more asthma)Anyway,
her name was Shraddha-which is an indian word for faith.

Speaking of pets - my cat Maggie (named after a celtic radio announcer) had an odd swollen place on her face - and after three days of it just growing I took her to the vet this morning. When the poor newbie doctor looked at it the thing just exploded bloody pus all over! AHHHHH. I wonder if she suddenly regretted her chosen profession. Anyway, a nice "flushing" and antibiotic shot, $150 bill, and my crazy cat is on the mend.

My dog is named Duncan. We usually name dogs a name from the country their breed is from, and he is "mostly" border collie. Duncan is Gaelic for "dark warrior" and he is black, so it seemed to fit! Most people seem to think he is named after Dunkin Doughnuts.

My dog (a Boxer/Husky mix) is named Moses. I got him as a puppy from a rescue-his mother
had her puppies at a church where she hid them under a log & covered them with mud to keep them safe. He was called Baldwin, but when I heard the story-I had to name him Moses!
