Fruit is an obvious one, but in the car or at the pool heat is a problem. My daughter just carries a cooler EVERYWHERE but I am not that coordinated. And nuts are so high in fat . . . but a good choice for protein!

Any ideas for healthy vegetarian food that is easy to transport? I am rather tired of "bars" with their million ingredients, high cost and blah taste.
