its ok girl and i learned that partly from you! :) i struggled after 5 months of be veggie and it seemed i too like you ate way too many carb stuff my down fall was cupcakes and candy! we are all on this journey together and whatever road we take i know we will be ok. eventually we will find the right path for us, whether it be eating less meat or no meat, we will find our path. :)

I'm late getting to this post-but you are not alone. In
my late teens/early twenties I was a total veg. When I
was married-I ate little meat-but I still ate it. Now
I'm in my 50s and I eat seafood-but no other meat. This
is accepted by most, and irritates some. And I am OK with that!-Linda

Jat1986~ No worries! I am kind of going the same route you are... I had gone strictly vegan for about a month, then fell of the bandwagon (like I do many times!)... But as of right now, I'm eating less meat and I'm learning to love veggie foods! I am sticking with this team, because I love all the wonderful girls here! It's a great team, and we hope to hear from ya more often! If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to hit me up! emoticon

You know we're here for you girl, no matter what, so don't feel like people will judge you or anything, because we won't.

My Vegetarianism started out because I'm a total animal freak, and later became more about the health aspect. We all do what we feel is best, for different reasons, and at different times. If you want to eat less meat for health reasons, that's GREAT! If, down the line, the ethics behind it comes into play, that's great too!

I wish you the only the BEST. You DESERVE it!!

Good luck! My personal transition to veganism was kind slow with some rocky points. I think that's the way most things are.

Feel free to hop into discussions anytime you like.

I have been working towards veg every since i fell off the vegan wagon (waayyyy back) and have decided that i just want to eat less meat and more veggies for now and if being total veg is something that will happen for me in the future then i will pursue it then but now i feel like this is what i have to do to be consistent. (When veg i'm mainly a carbotarian) I don't like the cruelty of animals but my reason would be for better health (never have gotten off into the ethical reasons for being veg)... but i know that over time ppl's reasons change so when that time comes i may be doing it for health, ethical reasons, etc you never know. Anyways, i'm here...not veggie though. Will prob only check in every now and then as i do like some of the threads. Good luck to everyone and thanks for understanding.
