I decided that I am not making resolutions this year. Certainly things need to change, but resolutions dodn't do it for me. I need one focus.

I found this website (I love it) that suggested instead of making a resolution choosing a theme word for your year.

-attraction/

My word: Prayerfulness/Pray. Its something I need to work on and also can apply to the issues that I must tackle. I took it step further and made a CD to compliment my word and keep me on track.

I have a friend who chose the word hope and another the word joy.

connect with your larger one.
May we breathe with one breath.
May we make this day holy together."

For 2009 I have a few main goals.

first and foremost, I want to get my health under control. I want to eat a healthy diet and exercise, exercise, exercise!!

I also want to reduce the clutter in my house. I am such a horrible pack rat. That has to STOP and I have to start getting some of the stuff that I've collected OUT.

And I love your goal of giving more of your worries to God and quit trying to take care of everything yourself. I need to do more of that sort of thinking as well.

What a great topic and a great way to get me thinking. Thank you!!

Great topic.

I want to increase the healthfulness of my food choices. I am vegan and overall eat pretty good, but I want to increase the veggies and fruits and get rid of the processed food.

I need to start exercising. I will start exercising. I will exercise. Sigh.

Good Topic!

I plan to continue Sparking and reaffirming to myself love and health.

"There are two wolves struggling inside each of us," the old man said.
"One wolf is vengefulness, anger, resentment, self‐pity, fear . . .
"The other wolf is compassion, faithfulness, hope, truth, love . . ."
The grandson sat, thinking, then asked: "Which wolf wins, Grandfather?"
His grandfather replied, "The one you choose to feed."

So i want to know what new goals do you have for this upcoming yr? These aren't in any particular order

1. Recommit to veg...i have been putting it off because to me its challenging to be a vegetarian especially vegan but i know its one of the best things i can do for my body, etc so i want to stop running from it.

2. More organization financially...save money, etc

3. Stop putting everyone before myself

4. Embrace my shape/fashion now and stop putting it off until i reach my "goal weight"

5. Pray more and put more trust in God and not try to handle things that are out of my control.

There are more but these are the ones i really want to focus on.
