Saw the first episode of the new season of Warehouse - they have it On Demand. Needed my fix! I can't wait for the season to get rolling!

I haven't seen 'Merlin', but I might have to give it a try. Right now, I'm concentrating on 'Defiance' and am looking forward to 'Warehouse 13' coming back next Monday. Many shows I watch are wrapping up for the season, so I'll be looking for some new things to take their place.

'Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW -- what a ride!

The relationship between Merlin and Arthur is what hooked me. They're so hilarious to watch, like brothers - Arthur will torture Merlin with a hefty workload, insult him at every turn, then fight like hell to protect him, find him, etc.

I know it's been a while since anyone posted a msg in this topic, but I wanted to add my comments. I saw part of one episode of Merlin on NBC years ago and didn't get it right away so never watched it again...then last month I was looking for something on Netflix, found Merlin and started with S1E1. I really enjoyed the show. I finished off the four series, 52 episodes, in two weeks....ive ordered series five for next week. Yes, there are liberties taken with the whole Arthurian story, but the character developement, the relationship and banter between Merlin and Arthur, Merlin and Gauis, is very entertaining. And that young man playing Merlin, Colin Morgan is a talented young man. I found one of his homework assignments from the Royal Academy when he was only 19. Reminds me of a young Sean Penn or Brando.

It is interesting how it seems to be a bit different from the Arthurian legends of old, yet still sticks to much of the same as far as the story. Different characters get introduced along the way that were in the old stories. It's been lots of fun.

I just watched the rest of series 2. The thing that keeps me coming back for more is to see how the show plays out against the Arthurian legends I read back in high school.

The humor in the show reminds me of SG1. If things start to get too serious Merlin always has something to lighten up the mood kind of like O'Neill. Plus it is nice to watch a show that isn't filled to the brim with sex and violence like BSG was.

GEERACE - give it a little time; earlier episodes especially were a bit stilted, but then it got good.

Yup, I'm a Merlin fan, too. It's on Syfy Friday nights at 9 central time. We've been watching for a few seasons now, and the acting on all parts started out a bit rough but has greatly improved. We love the brotherly relationship between Merlin and Arthur, and it's a lot of fun to watch Merlin save Arthur's butt repeatedly with magic without Arthur finding out.

So I found my new replacement show to fill the gap left from Stargate. Anyone watched Merlin? Just started watching last week on Hulu and Netflix. My daughter watched the first episode and liked it too (probably due to the fact that she is a big Harry Potter fan and Merlin of course has magic in it).
