I wish the writers would make some strong civilian leaders so the audience has to really be drawn into the story. As my husband likes to say "the civilians are a bunch of whiners." Come on writers give us something good. Please.

Well, I understand that they aren't military and therefore have a hard time being under the strict rules and structure that's been set out, but so far I haven't seen anyone in the civilian faction that's capable of being a fair, logical leader, and unless they bring out a "background" character with a bit more personality, all I can see is BIG trouble if they have a civilian government.

BF and I had a debate over the whole military/civilian thing, too. Yes, they need to have more communication and cooperation, but really, did the civilians think they were going to come out on top? They NEED the military more than the military need them. They're set up for a few more episodes of strife between the factions, I'm sure, before they settle this. And Chloe is turning out to be quite the "follower", isn't she? I don't think Eli is all to happy with her anymore, either. I love Eli; he's always helping out and has the humor the show needs.

I liked the episode. It really makes you think of both sides of the situation. For one, The military are on a mission to protect these ppl, and get them home. This is a ship after all, and with the situation being what it is, you want someone with Young's experence and know how running it all. BUT, on the other hand, they might be there for a VERY LONG TIME. The civilians did not sign up for the military, and want a "voice", a chance to be heard. That they do not want to be lead, but have a say in what is going on.

I think this is going to be an end to the whole Chole and Scott thing...I hope. He's crazy to jump back in bed with her after what she did!!!! grrrr...I don't like her very much.

Eli is still by far my fav character. He ads just the right amount of humor when needed.

Totally bumming that we didn't get to see new alien footage - just the ships in this episode. Hoping that is not the end of our interesting new enemy.

So my question is - why don't they form a little civilian government? I don't want this to become BSG but it seemed to work on that show.

I was a bit surprised that Chloe would turn her back so easily on Scott during this mutiny. Makes their relationship look that much more shallow.

Right now the only character I like, besides Eli, is Greer.
