"Weapons Grade Sugar" emoticon and it has mercury in it! It's just bad. I recently realized my favorite yogurt has HFCS in it emoticon . I'm so bummed. I switched to another kind that has probiotics in it and it tastes just as good.

We were trying to cut itout for the longest time, but have become really lax on it, I'm am defentally back on the band wagon on this one. It's a wonder we all don't have 4 heads and 6 feet with all the stuff they put in our food.

I didn't know there was mercury in the stuff, but I stay away from it anyway.

Someone on another message board where I'm a member calls it "weapons grade sugar" and I agree.

HFCS - I hate that four letter word. ;)

I have been trying to cut that out of my family's diet for the last 3 years. It is in so many foods. It has made me appreciate my co-op and Trader Joe's so much more since their foods don't have any HFCS in them.

I try to never buy anything that has HFCS in it. Those ads make me mad. They make it sound like it is OK, but its not.
Since my niece cut HFCS out of her diet entirely she hasn't had a single migraine. She doesn't use any kind of artificial sweetner.

I got a new magazine in the mail today. I don't know if anyone has seen those ads from the corn ppl saying that high frutose corn syrup is safe, ect.. (Infurates me!) Well, In teh new prevention Mag (May 09) it has an entire atricle on the stuff, and the finding s are quite interesting!

did u know:

HFCS contains MERCURY!20 samples were tested and found to have small amts of potentially harmful mercury. They are saying that 1/3 of all HFCS containing foods on the fall of 08 tested positive for the toxin. Of course the corn industry is crying unfair results, saing the test were "outta date".

That's the short of it. There's more, but that's the part that really caught my attention.
Kinda makes you think doesn't it!
