My daughter has found episodes of some shows on-line. She uses Hulu sometimes, but also told me Syfy has some episodes of some series on it. I don't know about the old series, but we should be able to find SGU on that site.

I know thid topic was started last summer, but I watch DVR'd episodes of SG1 & SG Atlantis. The other day I saw an episode I'd never seen--Teal'C dreamed he was a fireman. It was really good, and Christopher Judge wrote it. I knew he wrote others, and I hope he puts that talent to use on other TV sci fi series.

I own all of both. I watch to the end then start all over. This is how I fall asleep every night. I am supposed to get Children of the Gods by Netflix today. If it's good, then I'll buy it. I can hardly wait for the new movies coming out.

I own all of them. Pretty Shiny!

Oh - got distracted.

I'm traveling a lot for work, so I haven't made it through SGA S5 and the new CotG.

I own the Big Box of SG-1
Sadly, I got a few coasters in the bunch (sigh) and have had to buy replacement disks for the ones that are damaged.

On that note, if anyone has an extra copy of Season 10, final disk (I KNOW! Horrible. I was so angry that night) I'd love to take it off your hands. ;)

I am a new addict so I'm still in the itchy-skin-omg-gotta-watch-more stages. I burned though all ten seasons and immediately flipped around to watch again from season 1. I'm at 4, now. ;) I easily watch a disk a night while I crochet, clean or eat dinner. Don't own Atlantis or any of the films but definitely plan on buying the films and the new SG1 comics (squeee!)

At one time I was watching 4 or 5 eps a night. I usually go in the bedroom and bead and watch SG1. Dh watches tv in the living room and a lot of the time I'd rather watch SG1. I decided to watch the commentary and any other special features to make them last longer. I ripped thru season 1-3 in a little over a week. My nephew had 4 and 5 so I started over at Season 1. Even for me, that was TOO soon. Now I try to limit it to two eps with commentary a night. I also quit fastforwarding the opening and closing credits.

Hi, Deej.

Hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right, it does make it last twice as long!

I love the commentaries & watch them anyway, but it's great to get another new & good way of looking at things.

I watch at least one ep every night. I usually watch the ep and then listen to the commentary for the ep. That is my way of making it last longer, lol.

Hi All,
I have the Original Stargate, SG-1 all 10 seasons, and the Two Movies!
I watch them more than I watch regular TV, guess you could say I'm obsessed emoticon
But it is the Best Show on TV! Educational and Entertaining. Indeed!

I started Season 6 last night. I watched the first ep and now I am halfway thru it again with the commentary. Sometimes the commentary is quite good and sometimes I feel like I wasted my time.

I'm re-watching the series from the beginning and using this website at the same time:

http://community.livejournal.com/redial_
the_gate/

It's a group of people who are re-watching the show and adding comments, trivia and fanfiction (fan-written stories using Stargate characters) recommendations that pertain to each episode. You can jump in where they are or start from the beginning, which is what I did.
It's really a lot of fun.

I got the full ten season box set of SG-1 (as well as seasons 1 and 3 of SGA) for absolutely free, didn't even have to pay shipping... using the MGM Special Ops program. It's not operational right now, I guess since they are between shows, but once it comes back anyone who is a fan should sign on. You do little "missions" once a week and get points, then can exchange the points for free DVDs. It took me about 3 months to save up enough points for all of SG-1 but oh, it was SO worth it. I rewatch episodes at least once a week, and my mother is borrowing them from me one disc at a time and watching SG-1 for the first time.

I'm watching Season 5 now and watching the commentary after I watch the episode. It is a good way for me to 'slow down' on how many I watch a night when I am beading. I also have both movies but have only watched one. I have all of Atlantis that is out. I have no one in RL that understands my obsession, lol. Only my online friends. We occasionally get together online and watch an episode 'together'. Yes, we are obsessed.

I own all the SG*1 and SGA DVDs and am waiting for season 5 of Atlantis. Own the original movie as well. Don't have the 2 new movies of SG*1 yet, but have seen them. I have seen them all through twice so far and later this year will probably start all over again. My geeky co-worker is as equally obsessed, so at least I have someone to talk to. :)

We own all the Stargate DVD's we can get our hands on. I rewatch various episodes. It is fun to see how the characters changed over the seasons. SGU can not start soon enough. Sigh.

I'm with Becky, such a sorry person I am. I have all the SG1 and Atlantis series, the old Stargate movie and when it comes out the Children of the Gods (creators cut)

There is no such thing as too much Stargate!

I haven't gone past season 8 yet. I own them, but.....I also own all of SGA but I haven't started watching it yet. I also own the movies. I watched the Ark of Truth because my dh rented it without realizing I had it, so I felt like I had to watch it even tho I wasn't ready for it. I missed a lot of seasons 9 & 10 due to work. I'm loaning my dvds to my nephew and his family so I spreading the SG love, lol.

I own all of the DVD sets and rewatch them on a regular basis. In fact - and this is how obsessive-compulsive I am, lol - I have to start with the original Russell/Spader movie and also watch Atlantis seasons 1, 2, and 3 at the same time as SG1 seasons 8, 9, and 10.

Yeah, a little over-the-top, I know. emoticon

As I've said before I am currently rewatching SG1. I'm in season 5 and I'm also watching the commentary after I watch and episode.
I can't wait for SGU to start. I'm hoping I'll like it just as much.
