Hi!

By the way, if the visual look of the ads is part of what makes the site overwhelming, look into Adblocker software. I installed it about a week ago, and it really does seem to make internet life more peaceful. I don't see the banner ads at the top and I don't get pop-ups, with a few rare exceptions. I really, really hate any ad that flashes or moves, and now I don't have to deal with them.

thanks Karen... I've tried this site before but found it overwhelming, but don't think I gave it enough of a chance to get used to it. The database is far better than CK's I have noticed. I like that if someone else has inputted something into their database then you can import it into your own log. Saves a lot of time and hassle saving nutrition facts and entering it into the computer.

$12 a month ? Gee, the price has gone up since I left. When I was there, it was $9 a month or $65 a year. I heard membership went up to $85 a year unless you've been a member for over five years.

Well, that aside, Welcome back !! Lots of the old CK gang still poke their heads in from time to time. If we're lucky, maybe Minnesota Bob will make an appearance. LOL !!!

Spark People is great. It will take a couple of weeks to learn how to navigate the software, so don't let it overwhelm you. this website is wonderful. there are tutorials all over the place to help you get started. in fact, let me start you with your first link.... go here.

Don't think of it as this time, think of it as lifetime.

Hi everyone :) I am back to Sparkpeople. CK cancelled my membership yet again because I didn't have the 12.00 in my checking account when they wanted it. So I have come back here so I don't need to worry about that. No excuses anymore, just results. Between calorie count and CK have lost over 25 lbs this time around and I am far from done.
