The snow that is crippling the midwest is rain here. We got socked with the storm that marched up the coast last week. this week, it's rain.

Vicki, I hope you and your family get to enjoy the holiday together even if it's after Christmas.

I actually bought my engagement calendar for next year today. Calendars are 50% off at Borders and Barnes and Noble. I'll go back and pick a wall calendar later.

Man, calendars are expensive when they're full price!

We got socked in. No Christmas with family for us this year. We decided it was not worth the risk of trying to get out and back.

In reading a report on Oklahoma's snow situation, it sounds like California and a couple of southern states are the only places not being slammed by precipitation (in all its glorious forms). And yet, my mother still asks if I'm coming home for xmas into feet of snow...

uh, no. Today was sunny and beautiful and mid-50s. Just right for Dec 25th!

we're supposed to be in the upper 40's (maybe even 50's) this weekend, karen!

i'm sure it won't be enough time to melt this recent snow, but i sure hope it tries!

The weather is always weird in New England. You could have a 60 degree day followed by rain followed by bitter cold followed by snow followed by rain again. All in the same week.

welcome to winter...

We actually had snow flurries a couple of weeks ago, which is pretty unusual for Central Texas.

Today it's supposed to be in the low 70s.

Our weather is moving in now but it is nothing in the forecast compared to what your received out East.

Everyone stay safe and warm.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year!

We have snow (Utah), but it's old, leftover snow from 2 weeks ago. Right now it's just cold and foggy and smoggy. Yuck! Hoping for a storm to clear it out and get some fresh snow.

It was weird seeing so much snow in and around DC.

Okay, so who's at home looking at a winter wonderland outside their window ? Boston got 12 inches of snow, more or less. It's still kinda snowing or maybe I'm just watching it drift. Shoveling wasn't so bad. it's the light fluffy stuff. Oh, that means lousy for making snowmen, but great for skiing.

I was shocked that the Mid Atlantic states got more snow than we do. Usually New England gets hit with the snow.
