Camped at Whitney Portal Thurs. and Fri. nights. Hiked up Whitney and back Fri. I have two blisters and a horrible sunburn to show for the 22+ miles. Still, it was a beautiful hike and we had good weather.

Now if I can just fix my washing machine, I'll start all of the camping laundry!

Saturday is going to consist of running, making blueberry jam, and going to a wine & cheese party. Sunday is still open. Because ToonaCat (Laurie) came over yesterday evening, I've already cleaned the house...

So hey, maybe Sunday will be lazy.

Hmm... I'm not sure what I'm doing this weekend. Which means, it'll probably be a quiet one. I'll go into town to the farmer's market to pick up some veggies. I'll check out TJ Maxx for any sales. You can never have enough gym clothes.

Actually, I take that back, I will be taking time to review a two day seminar I may be taking in october. I probably will take the class since it'll fulfill the continuing education credits I need to keep my personal training certification active.

The seminar is called Nutrition for Professionals and it's given by a company called Lifestyle Management.

You can check them out here.

www.lifestylemanagement.com

The class is designed for doctors, nurses, wellness coaches and fitness professionals. One of my co-workers at the gym wants to go and it looks like a good program.

So, I'm just going to do some research to see if anyone left any reviews or comments. I'd never heard of the company.

This has been a crazy week with my son teaching a CAD camp for two hours every night, and me attending to a) learn how to use the program, and b) support the kid and represent the adult mentors on the robotics team.

So Saturday, when I finally have a few minutes to rub two thoughts together, I'm going to take it easy. Just finish repairing the railing for the deck stairway, reattach the fascia where it has come loose, break out the string trimmer and make the yard look beautiful, as well as grooming the walking path through the woods. We'll probably have a bonfire on Saturday night. Trey wants me to help him write a computer program as he works his way through a Python tutorial, Dewey's going to need some practice time driving, and Eunice needs me to go shopping with her for some new clothes for the school year. Probably a ladderball game in the back yard, followed by getting out a real ladder to get one or more ladderballs out of the trees.

I'd quit my job to make more room for life, but I really need the sleep.

We're off to do some shopping at Sam's Club tomorrow. Then home to just relax. Sunday is my washing/cleaning day.

Have fun watching Heroes! DH said it didn't start going downhill until the third season.

Nothing major on my side... I actually don't have to travel or see anyone and don't have people coming over!

So I'm going to finish moving the stuff in my garage back up to my new office (that I moved to the upstairs of my house), do some cooking for the week, maybe wash the car & the dog... some minor garden/house cleanup.

I'm definitely going to be watching the rest of season 1 of heroes. Yes, I know I'm like 5 seasons behind... :-)

so easy peasy!

It's been a bit slow around here lately, so thought I'd see what everyone is up to.

I'm on-call today, but I don't think I'll get an assignment until tomorrow. Catching up on housework today, working the weekend.

And you?
