I have this problem all the time. Hence, I almost never tuck in my shirts. When I shop I generally try to find longer shirts or longer camisoles to use underneath.

I have that problem with my work shirts all the time. It has to be long enough in the back it is tucked into the low-rider jeans....can't have my little back tattoo peeking out. And they tend to then be too big in the arms~long as don't catch on the caramel pump spout, ugh stickiness! I also have issues with collars too tight around my neck....so often opt for Vneck style shirts ...my fashion sense doesn't do blouses (guessing because has to straight up wash and wear, no gentle cycle on my machine....and handwashing, ahahahha, don't make me laugh!)

I have this problem sometimes. I try to buy shirts that are longer. Sometimes though I have to buy a size up and it is bigger in the arms and shoulders. I hang dry my shirts so that they do not shrink.

Yes I bet if I went a size bigger it would be too big in other parts. I guess its because we are tall? It sucks because I have been finding cute second hand clothes in my size and I get this problem with them...and a few Kmart shirts. I've gotten Walmart clothes and they seem to be better.
Oh yes and the jeans/pants. I don't know about others, but I like my pants to be at my belly button and not lower or higher. It means having a bigger size because I am biggest there but any lower and I fear they will fall down. I had found one pair of skinny low rider jeans and got a belt for them because otherwise...well...
I was at Fashion Bug once and this one worker there claimed she could fit into my jeans-she really wanted them. Like I was trying on stuff and she would say she was going to find whatever I had because she liked it. She was bigger than me yet somehow she fit into some of the same size clothes as me because she wore her jeans below her belly button and I wore mine at the belly button...

I have this problem all the time! I am five ft almost nine in. and I have to wear shirts one size bigger because it's longer....but it doesn't fit me anywhere else, it's too big. I'm always surprised by people who order clothes online~sure you can trade if it doesn't fit....but sometimes it's the style the doesn't work. Why is it now a days, I can't find a decent pair of jeans that aren't riding to high "mom jeans" and the other option is almost off my hip "low rider, hip huggers"

PS I loved the Fashion Bug.....so sad to see them go out of business.

Does anyone have problems getting shirts that are really short and ride up when they stand?
Most of my clothes had come from Fashion Bug before they closed. But some of my clothes I got from yard sales or GoodWill. I don't notice it so much in my Fashion Bug clothing, but lots of other shirts I notice will be short. Its like when I stand they want to pull up. And I am not sure if it is because they are the wrong size, I am fat, or maybe someone accidently shrunk their shirts in the wash...or what?
I am 5 feet 7 tall. I consider myself a size large meaning most clothes will fit me if they are a size Large. However, if the material is very stretchy it might have to be a medium or if it has zero stretch I might need an XL.
Am I the only one who finds shirts that seem to have shrunk? I guess I could wear a Cami under most of them to fix it, but I just wish I knew it wasn't me...
