My goal is to reach 1650 Miles and 2200 fitness minutes by year-end. Just did a tally for the year and came up with 1585 Miles so far (not including this month). Lots of running miles and many of the rest are walking miles in training for and walking the three day last month. My total for fitness minutes is 21,166 to date this year, averages just over an hour of fitness a day.

If I can maintain my current weight I will be happy.

I will definately limit baking this year. There are certain things that I must bake, but I won't bake the things that 'linger' around tempting me in the evenings.

If I can continue to eat well during the week, then I have really acomplished something!

Ideally I would like to weigh the 180# that I weighed last year on CHristmas Day. That said... I think losing 15# in just 25 days is a bit much, but my goal is to lose 10# in 31 days. That is roughly 2.5# a week. Totally doable!!!

1. I am going to continue keeping myself on track by making and printing a weekly fitness list!

2. I am going to strength train Monday through Saturday!

3. I am going to take my morning walk with Bru! If the weather doesn't allow this I will alternate between my WATP dvds and Advance Step on Wii Fit!

4. I am going to do at least one additional workout a day I have tons at my disposal!

5. I am going to watch what I eat! This will be especially important on:

6th - Mom's Birthday Dinner (check Ram's menu online)

12th - Cookie Houses (no nibbling on candy)

13th - Swanberg Family Brunch (check Ray's Boathouse menu online)

19th - Wild Game Feed (small tastes)

21st - Sugar Cookies (no dough, limit cookies)

24th - Christmas Eve Dinner (prepare healthy sides to go with Prime Rib, small tastes)

25th - Christmas Day (brunch at our house, healthy options, small tastes)

6. No baking just because it is the holidays! I do not need more stuff to eat than others will already be pushing my way!

7. Get my fitness in EARLY! The longer I wait the less likely I am to succeed!

It takes dedication, determination and desire to accomplish anything in life.

I plan to eat the same way as I have been, allowing for Christmas dinner~and exercise more to compensate for that. Goal is to at least maintain present weight, but would like to see 2-3# off.

The holiday season is always rough when it comes to eating healthy and losing weight.

What goals do you have to help you stay on track during December?

It takes dedication, determination and desire to accomplish anything in life.
