the pedometer site is http://walking.about.com/library/walk/blgo
oglemap1.htm

it takes any address that you type in and gives you a map. you can then pinpoint where you will be walking and it gives you the distance. looks awesome to me!

iVillage has a whole section on fitness. Google has a section where you can plan, print, and measure distance of walking routes.

Sorry, don't know addresses for these things, just search for them when I need them.

Also like recipezaar.com for recipes and bettycrocker.com has a lot of recipes too, that can be modified to be healthier.

We all know SparkPeople has about a million helpful resources, but I've found a couple of other pages that have helped me utilize SP's tools to even greater effect.

The first is calorie-count.com. It's got tons of nutritional information on everything to a general search for the number of calories in a plum, to specific brands and flavors and such.

The other is gourmetsleuth.com, which has a unit conversion calculator with ounces, cups, grams, etc.

Today, for instance, I had Stonyfield Farm Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt as part of my breakfast--but it wasn't listed in SP's nutritional tracker. I looked up the info at calorie-count but--oh no! It gave the info in grams, and I had measured my breakfast in cups! Easily solved at gourmetsleuth. :D

What other great internet tools are out there for us to utilize?
