If you're doing major cleaning you can count some of it toward your cardio. I'm trying to clean and pare down some of the stuff we've amassed over 25 years.

Nice Job Juanita!! I did ok... I walked to class. That was the extent of my exercise. And I went to the driving range with my boyfriend and hit a few balls (or tried to, I've never done it before.) It was fun though. We're having a housewarming party on Saturday and I have a lot of cleaning and cooking and shopping to do for the next couple days.

I did good today. I ate good and did my workout plus did some upper body work. Oh yeah, drank my water too.

Ok well lets see i am 21 i have a 2 year old lil boy i stay at home like ALL THE TIME! so eat out of boredom and stress and depression id say. i havent offically started to diet altough when i went shopping the other day i did buy healthier items. i cook for 4 and on a tight budget. i have always been 135lbs and when i got preg. i gain alot for now im 200lbs and it kills me. I just feel so blah i cant get the energy to get going. I posted a blog about the type of things id like my buddy and i to do. well i guess thats all about me really.

Rayslove,

I am a mother of 2, 10 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son. I am also a healthcare worker, of sorts mental health in group homes! I only work part time right now, but looking for full time. I am also an emotional eater!! I eat when I get stressed out, especially when my exhusband gets going on me. I would be happy to buddy up, but check out my sparks page first. I have some different views than others, and it is not aways apprechiated! Read my introduction last paragraph.

I would be interested in having a buddy to help keep me accountable too. I am a 30 yr old single mom of one little boy, I work full time in healthcare, and I have about 25 lbs to lose. My life is pretty hectic with work and parenthood, and I don't have a lot of support. I have a great family but they are far away. I eat a alot for emotional reasons and also out of boredom. Anyone looking and going through same issues, I would love the support!

I've pretty much always been 'big boned'. I held steady at 195 for most of college, but I was very active with college life and work and stuff. Then after my last semester I moved home and my mom cooked for me for a year. It was really hard to control my food intake while i was living home, and i didn't have access to the gym anymore. I also got in the habit of going out a lot. Now, I just moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend, and i've got full reign over what kind of food we keep in our kitchen. I just started graduate school and I work as an engineer full time. The plus side is I have access to the gym again. Now I just need to find the time to exercise.

I lost a friend about a month ago to cancer. It really sucks. I've been trying to stay in the calorie guidelines. The first week I did really good. This past week I just was tired and didn't eat as good some days. And Friday night I had a late night and a late dinner of a couple slices of pizza. I do drink my 8 glasses of water everyday. I've always done some sort of workout but the eating didn't go along with it so I'm overweight. I've been about the same weight for the past 3 years since I was diagnosed with cancer. I gained weight during treatments and have just had a really hard time losing it. How bout you? What got you to this point?

Hooray!! I have a diet buddy! It's good to see that you're a cancer survivor. I actually just lost a dear friend (and the dean of my college) to her long fight with cancer. And my boyfriends mom has been cancer free for like 6 years now. I really admire the strentgh and determination of ladies like u! Anyway, what have you been doing for your diet so far? I've been trying to stay within the diet ranges and drink lots of water, I feel like thats helping a little. Have you been exercising at all?

So, It's been two weeks since I've started this program. I've lost 5 lbs (mostly from eating within my ranges and drinking 8 cups of water a day, i didn't really do much exercise). I feel like I could use some good advice and motivation from a buddy that knows what I'm going through. Anybody wanna team up with me to jump start some new habits??
