I've lost another 1.5 pounds! It's slow going at the moment and I think part of it is extra candy being around at the moment. Need to walk more and eat less candy!

Well, I have to report that Halloween did me in. I gained 1.2 lbs back. I am not happy about it, and I know it is probably muscle, but it is the first time since joining spark that I gained. Heck, I hadn't even had a week where I didn't lose anything. I was doing so well. Hope that I get back on track this next week and lose the weight, again.

I'm down .8 lb this week. That is a HUGE relief. Halloween was difficult, but I've discovered three things:

1. I don't have the willpower right now to have just one. For now, candy needs to stay out of the house.
2. I actually paid attention and really learned about the sugar highs and lows. The sugar hangover was nasty! Remembering that should help me in the future.
3. A couple of bad days doesn't mean that you've failed. Every day is a new start, and if you get right back at it, you are succeeding!

I lost 1lb this week for a total of 5lbs since starting SparkPeople. I started this week off a little sloopy. I haven't been eating really bad, but not really great either. Hopefully I can maintain and not gain anything for the rest of the week.

Down 1.6 lbs this week. I had gained .4 lbs earlier this week, but lost a net of 1.6 lbs! Actually got into a pair of jeans that have been laying in the bottom dresser drawer un used for some time!! emoticon

Hey Ladies, you did great!! You didn't have some of the best choices, missed out on exercise, etc. So what!! You lost weight and probably ate healthier than you have in the past!! emoticon

I lost 2 lbs this week but watching what I eat, however in the exercise department I've been lazy. I also had a couple days of eating out so I had to find a balance for it all week....this week I'll try to focus on eating and incorporating the exercise. It's a busy week coming up at work so I want to try to plan for that...

I lost 2.5lbs this week. My real focus this week was to work on tracking my food, even if I get off track. I totally blew it today, so hopefully I can make it up during the rest of the week.

As of Wednesday, I lost .5 inches from my neck, 2.5 inches from my waist, and 3 lbs. No change on the hips emoticon so now my pants are even bigger on my waist then before and still snug on the hips!! LOL

KFPULEO, don't beat yourself up too much. Remember that this isn't just about losing weight, it's about long-term health. Before you think about all the things you didn't do, or wish you'd done better, think about all the good things you DID do for yourself today. Think about the extra calories you didn't eat at lunch, or the serving of fruit/veggies you wouldn't normally have had.

If you're really having a rough time of it while you're at home, try taking small steps. Instead of cutting yourself off from high calorie family dinners AND desserts AND adding exercise to your daily life... Maybe just cut out desserts right now (or just keep a stash of smartones deserts for you, while your family has the full-fat version). Once you're feeling more comfortable with that, then add exercise, or limit yourself to just a couple of desserts each week, and so on. It's true that weight loss results will be longer in coming that way, but you'll still be doing something great for yourself, without adding a lot of stress to your life.

Deedrz congrats on losing those lbs.

KFPuleo I too would do terrible on the weekend. I finally joined a team that was specific for weekends. So you might want to look for a team that you check in on the weekend. It helps you be accountable for those days.

So far I haven't lost anything, but I do feel better because I haven't been eating a whole lot of sugary foods. Thursday is my "real" weigh-in day, so I will keep you posted. And congrats to all who did lose !!!

i totally fell off the wagon this weekend and lost no weight at all : ( I do great during the weekend and then blow it on family dinners, dessert, and no exercise. when am i going to be able to commit??????? emoticon

This was my first week and I lost 7 pounds and an inch off the waist...I haven't done much exercise but that is my next focus once I've got the balanced diet down...today I cooked eggplant and turkey lasagna for my lunches this week! emoticon

I have been with sparkspeople for a week now and i have lost 2.4 pounds so far at first i did not think i was loseing at all but first weigh was today. emoticon
