Hi! I thought I would drop by to make sure anyone was still here. I have also fallen off the wagon a few times. However, I am reading "The Spark." I've got to tell you that it is all clicking now! I am back on track and ready to conquer my goals.

Still here! Or rather, here again. I've been on and off the diet wagon more times than I can count in the last couple years. I lost a good bit of weight when I moved from Boston to Richmond (and in with my boyfriend). My lifestyle's a lot more active now, which is really what did it. But I'm still about 20 or 30 pounds heavier than I'd like, so I'm back on plan.

Still here! Still trying to move forward. Yes, Kalew14 and it is still hard. I don't know why though. Guessing that it has to do with change... permanent change.

I'm still here. I'm trying to think of myself as a slow starter. Or maybe the results are slow to come since my baby steps are micro steps?

Hey guys, I'm back. Can't seem to keep it off, or at least stopped trying after life got hectic. I've just made another massive change and moved 4 provinces over (Ontario to Alberta). I'm starting this up again and have to find ways to keep myself committed.

Hi!
I have been on a bit of a break lately. I had a baby in December and am finding it hard to get back into a fitness routine. I know it will just take time, but I am trying to be on spark a little more to get the positive energy and support from all the great members here!

It would be wonderful to be back on a team with the people I started with!

Hope you are all doing well!
Lisa

Ok... I left this team (how do you leave your "start date" team?), but have signed back on again.

I have actually stopped & started SP a few times since '07 (can you believe it? 2007!!) And have really made NO, weight loss progress.

Over the last few months I have been more active in my city team. This time around I am trying to really stick it out for a long enough time to experience some benefits.

How's everyone doing so far this year? I've amde some progress, and made some good, small but manageable changes, so I am feeling pretty good. Still have a long way to go, but finally feel like I'm on my way.

Hi Holly!

Welcome to the team! My clothes are my accountability, i.e. I am NOT buying bigger ones. My husband is a "food pusher", food = love, so it's challenging in my household, too. He's admitting that many of my healthy foods and recipes taste great, but has no concept of portion control, so I have to regulate myself on that.

I recently joined the team. I have my good days and bad. I am looking for the support and someone to keep me on track. I usually try to lose weight alone by doing that I don't have the accountablilty that I need. My husband is too much of a push over and will give me what I am craving. I look forward to chatting with you guys.

I think it's cool that people are still joining these teams a year or more after they were started. It's never too late!

Hi, I just joined the team..took forever for me to find it. I'm here for the motivation to exercise consistently. I would like to track the food that I eat..that has always been hard for me to do. I think I can remember but I don't.
Another thing, I'm a scale junkie! I'm on the thing several times a day. However, as much as I am on it I don't obsess about the number.

I am also still here. I've had several stops and starts, but starting over at the new year seems to be going well. More of my goals are related to doing things/streaks, rather than focusing on the scale so much. For me, this is a more positive way to look at things, and will hopefully pay off in the long run.

Maybe we can get this team going again! I am starting over also and determined to keep it off this time! Sounds like we have some pretty tough women here who can handle anything and are working to get stronger. That's great motivation for me.

Girl I am right there with you. I had a rough year in 2008, lots of disasters, and life changes. I have found my way back too and set new goals and this time I aim to achieve them. I wrote them all out of my SparkPage if you are interested.. It is just so easy to lose motivation, but this time I will not let it happen. I plan on raching my goal by my birhtday.

I had multiple pelvic fractures, ruptured diaphragm, and some other internal injuries. Emergency surgery, 10 or 11 days in hospital, another 11 in a nursing home (same one where I am now working)... then several months in a wheelchair and homebound.

It was a long time ago, 10 years ago tomorrow.

Jen, I still have issues at times from a wreck 10 yrs ago, but I've found that they're lessened to nonexistent if I keep my weight where it belongs. That's just one more incentive to get back there!

I'm still around. Or back around should I say. I lost about 25 lbs while I was in the hospital but I found it when I got home. ; ). So I am back to trying to lose again. Still having a few issues from the wreck which makes regular exrcise difficult and painful. We got a wii fit and that has been awesome.

Still here, Ravyn! Got to maintenance then got too focused on my new job and too busy with that, forgot to take care of me, and gained some back. So I'm at it to lose those lbs.

Hey, I know I fell off the face of the earth like forever ago. But I did manage to find my way back. Is anyone still around and still losing weight, or did you all move on to the maintence stage?
