I try to plan snacks into my daily meals, but of course that doesn't always work. So my "legal" snacks, as I call them, include things like:

- bran crackers to help with the desire to crunch on something - and I can always use the fibre.

- cucumbers which give a bit of crunch, nice and cold. Same thing with carrots and celery - I try to keep some cut up in baggies in the fridge all the time.

- almonds, if they fit into my plan. They're a healthy fat, and actually quite filling, but they do pack a whollop of calories.

- protein shakes with ice to make them feel like a milkshake.

How about a list from everyone on snacks that would not hurt us... this is my idea?
