Well, this snow thing and temps below 30 has put a 4 week stop on my running. I'm a FL gal and am not use to freezing.. I was up to 14 milers until the first snow.....Still doing indoor work outs- squats and all. No treadmill. I guess ING in Miami is looking out out of the question for me.
Keep up the great runs my friends.
Wanting to get back to my Sunshine Running by the Bay..

The snow was a minor nuisance. It was the variable weather conditions which made it more difficult. Went from snowy/windy to sunny/more windy/colder - freezing for much of the last 3 miles. Plus running through the hills. Just an exhausting run.

How bad was the snow?

I've done a 21 mile in snow and it was fun... had to be careful where I stepped as to not to slip on the ice, but the snowflakes falling were beautiful... and I've done a measly 5 miler in much deeper snow and while it was fun for the first mile, it was very slow and was less fun after I didn't realize the snow at the next turn wasn't solid and I sunk to my hips!

I felt good that I finished. I actually felt pretty good during it as well, just exhausted. It was a tough run

That actually sounds nice... a run in the snow. I always like long runs in bad weather... makes me feel like I've accomplished something "above and beyond"!

Well, since I'm running a marathon at the end of February in Hyannis, I could run into any type of weather, so I might as well train in it. :-)

I'm looking out the window and it's snowing. Not heavy, but snowing. The ground is covered and it looks a bit windy, but not horrible. I'll dress warm. The temps are only in the twenties and I'm certain feel much colder. Minimum of 10 miles today - perhaps 15. I'll see how I feel.
